Nobody here is more prepared than me for any apocalypse short of a direct nuclear strike, and yet I doubt it will come the way that I imagined it. When I die, somebody else will get my food, water, guns and ammo, medical supplies, seeds and tools and thats just fine with me.
For a while I was concerned about Peak Oil having a knock on effect to the miners, but now so many run on stranded energy it would take a world-wide catastrophe to know them out. Nodes are another thing but there are so many running, only the Return of Jesus could knock them offline.
So stack your cans and more, but don't sell the Sats.
