they are incredibly constrained computing environments, smart contracts are probably not too different from the compute power of an 8088 and quantum computers memory capacity is measured in merely tens of qbits
neither are actually a significant threat to unseating anything, they are just woo woo marketing and the real meat and potatoes of computer technology is parallel programming, as it has been since the 90s, but like morons sitting on a branch sawing at the inner side of the branch, they are diverting funds away from this area and into this shit that isn't gonna go anywhere for at least decades, if that
