my favorite example of this is when every company puts ( non serviceable ) rechargeable batteries in every device instead of standard AA or AAA batteries and says that they do this to save the landfills ...
except that i have been using rechargeable AA and AAA batteries for the past 30 years and the good ones last well over a decade and cost less than a dollar to replace while many of these integrated devices stop holding charge after 2 or 3 years and you have to toss the entire $100 device in the trash ...
it is amazing to me that the average person is so utterly retarded that they can't charge their own Ni-Mh AA or AAA batteries using a Maha / Powerex charger
you literally put the battery in the charger and then when you take it back out it is charged
the average person is incapable of doing this
they are likewise incapable of mixing cranberry juice with sugar and water on their own - they have to buy a "drink" that contains "5 percent cranberry juice" ...
then they act shocked when i tell them to their face that i am smarter than them. would they act shocked if i told them the sky was blue ? i am just stating an obvious objective fact.
