Martyrs Zotic, Atal, Camasis, and Filip, Romanian saints of Niculițel, met their end during Diocletian's persecutions in the 4th century. Their relics, discovered in 1971 in a Roman basilica, revealed their martyrdom. They were likely missionaries spreading Christianity among the Romans and local Geto-Dacians. Their sacrifice solidified early Christianity in the region.
