In fact, this looks like it's becoming a drop in replacement for <itunes:image> which is great because we can adapt it to our new needs by adding other attributes.
If we could add stuff to the itunes namespace, this wouldn't even need to be done, but we need to expand the purposes of an existing tag, and since that's not possible, we bring it into our own namespace.
