Yes it is an attempt to curb this fractal individualism.
They will always win, they have one agenda get the money power and control, any means necessary.
The people bicker over granular issues.
No cohesion no gameplay no leadership, no direction or voice.
Even if they did, no control over national infrastructure etc...
As far as I am concerned if we are going to sink this ship, it should be a decision we all make together.
You will find in a system like this democracy will not be tyranny of the many, in practice people want the same things, they just package them differently in their own minds.
Manipulating votes manipulates minds. When people think a large amount of other people believe a thing, they start wanting to believe it with them. That's why social media is such a problem, making people believe a large number of people believe something manipulates their perception.
If you vote blue and red wins you think most people stand for those values, if I say NO the vote was fixed, they will call me a paranoid conspiracy theorist.
Because it is easier to deceive someone than it is to convince them they have been deceived.
Cognitive dissonance is a mofo.
If prompted to vote for a specific issue, in this type of environment I think most people will start agreeing on more things. As facts are facts and regardless of who you are you know what's right and wrong.
People can say hey that prlart is good but we rejected bill because we don't like the other part, we will be happy to sign off that part with the necessary spending or changes that the opposition have suggested, but remove this piece.
These people refuse things just because the opposition suggest it, play silly games and win silly prizes.
Political tribalism, social media influence and censorship, a barage of mis and disinformation etc...
We can start to slowly whittle them down.
We can have in app metrics (like ground news) that is network contributed and controlled.
I am working on a way to regulate the id centralisation issue. There are ways, however you like will not get voting rights.
I mean I can allow a no kyc but then why use it if not to vote?
Currently the kyc docs are stored on your device, referenced with the necessary databases (there are many) and a zk proof kept on the verification service.
Simply put we should build it (I am) release it (will soon).
Download it (as many as possible) show the system works for network voting.
Use the global voting tab for things like climate issues, war crimes, humanitarian crises. etc, treat it like an advanced polling service until I can get regulatory clearance. With cryptographic proof of vote, and it can then be used like a petition service.
This is a way to start getting proof of Concept going enough to get regulators and governments interested. And there's plenty of global issues that need dealing with immediately, gaza for one.
Also use the wallet and the messaging service.
10s of thousands for that regulatory stuff, obviously I will not seek to do it until I get a forum going with the voting board and put the feelers out.
Otherwise I can change tact and come back to that angle later.
I dont have funds for the kyc services though, and I can't start with rogue accounts, unless I can make a testnet and get it to migrate XX amount of users and data later. I'll look into that as well but I think that will be quite hard.
