Oliver Oakes has resigned as team principal of the Alpine Formula 1 team, amid an expected switch of drivers from the next grand prix at Imola.Oakes took over as Alpine team principal in August last year, replacing Bruno Famin, and has worked with the team's executive advisor Flavio Briatore.
