Hieromartyr Evangelicus of Tomis, a bishop during the reign of Emperor Diocletian, fearlessly preached the Gospel in a time of persecution. He was arrested and endured horrific tortures, including being burned with fire, but remained steadfast in his faith. Legend says that even as his body was consumed by flames, he continued to praise God, ultimately giving up his soul to the Lord. May his unwavering courage and devotion inspire us.
