For the user, this will look like a boring tap payment at a terminal with their card.
Behind the scenes, it’s an unsurveillable private payment system using the Lightning network with funds blindly transferred using native ecash wallets.
The user issues their own payment card for the network.
No. Banks. Involved.
Nostr, Lightning and Cashu make it look like a single instantaneous system, and when scaled, it will be thousands of independently operating systems.
You can’t shut this down.
