I spoke to my family member about their TikTok addiction, and what they said has shooked me.
They gave me a plethora of reasons why they prefer to use TikTok, including how they don't have a social life - even in the house - and how the app has been keeping them company during their commutes to home and work.
... Part of me feels guilty of not even spending quality time with them. Everyone is miserable nowadays, and I wasn't even there for one...
