I think they are hung up on the 15% tax on unrealized gains due to CAMT and want the IRS or the Trump to say they absolutely don't have to pay that. Which they don't. It is against the constitution to tax an asset with a transaction event. But I think they didn't want to get in trouble so they bought 3 months to have that publicly clarified or file a lawsuit over unconstitutional clause in a stupid law probably written by an intern.

I've done this. Few
I've done sensory deprivation tanks and used to to rewire my brain... I needed it, don't really want to get into it.
Anyway, they tell you do this or that as a meditation or try to astral project whatever. Your note reminds me of this thing I would do in the tank where I almost could put myself back in my body on given day when I was a kid. It got insanely vivid. It didn't feel like memories it felt like I was reliving. To the point it was almost like afterwards I could remember a time as a kid when my adult self visited me and reassured myself about the future.
Impossible to truly describe the feeling of serenity, appreciate of life and gratitude you have after a session like this.
Life is a beautiful thing if you let it be. It can be a fucking prison if you let little shit get in the way. PS everything that makes you miserable is little shit. I know it doesn't always feel that way, but it is.

They shouldn't have to KNOW they are using Lightning, either. Stop confusing them! They already barely know what Bitcoin is. Lightning just sounds like a shocking to them.
Same goes for eCash on a Fedimint protocol. These are essentially nerd-layers that need to be abstracted away from the general public. Just tell them they're using Bitcoin and watch them get excited. Don't confuse them with "Lightning" and "ecash". Just make it work for them.

9 out of 10 people I meet daily know about Bitcoin, but almost none have ever heard of Lightning. In fact, when I tell them they can make payments in a split second, almost without any fees, it takes them a moment to process it.
Some of the biggest complaints people have about Bitcoin have already been solved, and they don’t even realize it.

I don't see it being massively adopted simply because not having an email and password to login is too confusing for most people. Pair that with having to store the nsec in a safe space (they'll shove it in notepad or the cloud that is later hacked), having to register the npub in order to have a readable "username" and having to use a separate app/plugin in order to login to other websites because using the nsec directly is not safe.
One way that could make it popular would be to have popular musicians put their music on Wavlake, but I had a look and from the about 150 musicians I listen to none of them are there.

Hey everyone, I switched clients to yakihonne and loving it so far, however I'm having a problem when I zap folks. My balance in yakihonne wallet drops BUT on the note I zap, the icon doesn't turn orange and I'm not listed in the "zappers" either..

This is what I meant about how big the waves at the beach below my palheiro are so noisy... They are crashing so hard sometimes there is huge splashback spray, and that's what's making the rumble.
I'm gonna have a light dinner and drink right up close this evening. I couldn't think of a better occasion than sipping beer, munching chips and looking at how close the ocean is to washing me into the void.

He was born of a noble family in southern Italy, and was educated by the Benedictines. In the normal course of events he would have joined that order and taken up a position suitable to his rank; but he decided to become a Dominican instead. His family were so scandalised by this disreputable plan that they kidnapped him and kept him prisoner for over a year; but he was more obstinate than they were, and he had his way at last.
He studied in Paris and in Cologne under the great philosopher St Albert the Great. It was a time of great philosophical ferment. The writings of Aristotle, the greatest philosopher of the ancient world, had been newly rediscovered, and were becoming available to people in the West for the first time in a thousand years. Many feared that Aristotelianism was flatly contradictory to Christianity, and the teaching of Aristotle was banned in many universities at this time – the fact that Aristotle’s works were coming to the West from mostly Muslim sources did nothing to help matters.
Into this chaos Thomas brought simple, straightforward sense. Truth cannot contradict truth: if Aristotle (the great, infallible pagan philosopher) appears to contradict Christianity (which we know by faith to be true), then either Aristotle is wrong or the contradiction is in fact illusory. And so Thomas studied, and taught, and argued, and eventually the simple, common-sense philosophy that he worked out brought an end to the controversy. Out of his work came many writings on philosophy and theology, including the Summa Theologiae, a standard textbook for many centuries and still an irreplaceable resource today. Out of his depth of learning came, also, the dazzling poetry of the liturgy for Corpus Christi. And out of his sanctity came the day when, celebrating Mass, he had a vision that, he said, made all his writings seem like so much straw; and he wrote no more.
Let us pray for the Holy Spirit to inspire us, like St Thomas, to love God with our minds as well as our hearts; and if we come across a fact or a teaching that seems to us to contradict our faith, let us not reject it but investigate it: for the truth that it contains can never contradict the truth that is God.

That's an interesting idea—adding specific notes for blocked users could improve transparency. Right now, our API doesn’t include a way to retrieve notes from blocked users, but it's something that could be considered in the future. That said, we’re very selective about blocking, and it’s mostly limited to spambots and impersonators of big accounts.
Our API isn’t currently part of the Nostr protocol, and I’m not sure integrating it into clients would be the best approach since we already have NIP-56 for client-side filtering if needed. That gives users more control over what they want to see without relying on a centralized blocking system.

I do this mind trick on myself as often as I can where I imagine I’m an old man on my death bed and I have been given one day where I can go back in time and inhabit my young healthy body and play with my kids when they are small.
