The pay to live already exist, pharmaceutical industry is already cynic.
Many medicine progress have been done by public research.
It is just stupid the money goes to private company only for benefit, instead of rewarding the public scientist by improving their working conditions.
Anyway, technology progress will just introduce a way to be more cynical than nowadays but for a longer time and in a more insidious way. this episode is, on many points, realistic, and it is the path we are already walking on.
The only way would be to improve public research as an industry.
It will cost less for everyone to buy medicine and it will be a lot less cynical.
But it is not enough capitalist-compliant. Benefits must go to few people, even if they do nothing more than investing.
It is just stupid to apply a blind-capitalism for health, and a lot more stupid when research are also done by public entities, but benefits not so it means less investing for public search... just a vicious circle.

I really hate this kind of "verification" :
- It save biometric data to somewhere on a cloud, with all you other datas... that could serve for the people that hack them
- The one (people, countries agents...) who really want to access the API (for good or bad reasons) will find a way to hack the system (fake video, fake id)...
So why are they still do that ?
It is as secure as a subway ticket.
Before checking our biometric data they should check their mind health and try to understand it doesn't work for the one they want to target.

Define worth….i have one and mine with Ocean. I get about 500 sats each time they hit a block. I’m down a hash board so if running at 100%, you’d probably hit 750 sats a block. That’s .63 US and I don’t notice any increase in utility costs. I think Canada utilities are cheaper than US as well.

As you are aware, c corporations have the problem of double taxation. The corporation pays tax at federal rate of 21% and then you pay a tax rate of up to 37% on “dividends” that the owner with draws.
But it would seem logical that if you’re holding BTC and trading short term, the corporation is saving some tax. Then if you take a salary rather than a dividend, you will reduce your corporate income and the salary would be taxed at whatever rate you individual tax rate happens to be.
Obviously each tax scenario is different and depends on lots of factors. But given the right scenario, you may be better off than you think if gains are short term and held inside the c corp.

Hello !
It seems to be the year of #bitcoin general adoption.
I mean #BTC is now "touching" any kind of people on the planet.
- Simple individual buyers
- Privates companies
- States / country
- Public founds
And for many reasons : some for the exchange values, other to stack value, and other to take benefit of the increasing value of BTC.
I am not sure nowadays there is a lot of amount selling period when BTC price is going down, it is just about whales moving their invest and the waves it make on the price.
I think most of holders get the lessons of the past, and just keep the BTC.
It increase the BTC value hold by bitcoiners and holders and the strength of BTC.
BTC is going to enter in a more stable period now, the price will continue to go up, but never fall so down.
It means it will interest more and more people that have been keep out this exchange/money revolution since this last 10 years, by fear or by fake news.
It is really a good year for this revolution tool to be mass used now.

Ingredients:
75g Butter
1kg Leek
½ tsp Salt
300ml Creme Fraiche
1 Egg
3 Egg Yolks
¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
225g Plain Flour
½ tsp Salt
60g Butter
60g Lard
50g Cheddar Cheese
2 tbs Water
Instructions:
For the pastry, sift the flour and salt into the bowl of a food processor, add the butter and lard, then whizz together briefly until the mixture looks like fine breadcrumbs. Tip the mixture into a bowl, then stir in the cheese and enough of the water for the mixture to come together. Tip out onto a lightly floured surface and knead briefly until smooth. Roll out thinly and line a 23cm x 4cm loose-?bottomed fluted flan tin. Prick the base with a fork. Chill for 20 minutes.
02.Melt the 75g butter in a saucepan over a low heat, then add the leeks and the salt. Cover and cook for ?10 minutes until soft. Uncover the pan, increase the heat and cook ?for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the liquid has evaporated. Spoon onto a plate and leave to cool.
03.Preheat the oven to 200°C/fan180°C/gas 6. Line the pastry case with baking paper and baking beans or rice and blind bake for 15-20 minutes until the edges are biscuit-coloured. Remove the paper and beans/rice and return the case to the oven for 7-10 minutes until the base is crisp and lightly golden. Remove and set aside. Reduce the oven temperature to 190°C/fan170°C/gas 5.
04.Put the crème fraîche into a bowl with the whole egg, egg yolks and nutmeg. Lightly beat together, then season. Stir in the leeks. Spoon ?the mixture into the tart case and bake for 35-40 minutes until set ?and lightly golden. Remove from ?the oven and leave for 10 minutes. Take out of the tin and serve.

Good questions. Agorists (and more broadly, anarchists) tend to not believe that their ideology needs to be widespread in order to work. Of course, it would be absolutely fantastic, but it is not yet realistic at this time in history (nor even going back to the days of early anarchists).
I think that we just busy ourselves with small-scale self employment/self-sufficiency, and voluntary activities/transactions with others who believe as we do,
while trying to minimize or avoid fiat transactions as much as possible, to the point that the greater economic picture is less important to our daily lives (though I don't speak for them all) and to keep moving forward the way we do, and only hope that future generations keep the tradition.
It is not for agorists to worry about or try to control the greater economy, but to keep up the tiny momentum of all the above in our own spaces and local communities. Nostr helps expand those into a larger community, but it's the same thing unless the world becomes orange-pilled and takes up a voluntary ideology/identity (which will hardly happen in our lifetime or even the next generations' lifetime).
