Smart or dumb move?
Hi I am 31 years old and could use some perspective of people being where I want to be in life (financially independent). Appreciate any feedback.
I’m currently considering selling my house, which is valued around €360,000, and would net me around €140,000 profit. My current mortgage interest rate is very low (1.08%), making the decision even harder. I’m thinking about reinvesting around 75% of this profit (~€105,000) into Bitcoin (spread out) and keeping the rest as a financial cushion.
My reasoning: • I believe Bitcoin will significantly outperform real estate over the next 10 years (assuming about 29% yearly growth, this investment could be worth significantly more in a decade). • Renting a house outside the city with a garden would slightly increase my monthly payments compared to my current mortgage, but would give me more flexibility and freedom. • Less liability, fewer responsibilities tied to homeownership, and greater liquidity.
The downside: • I lose the stability and long-term security of homeownership, especially given my current favorable interest rate of just 1.08%. • I’d be paying someone else’s mortgage rather than building equity. • Rent can go up over time, increasing my monthly expenses. • The landlord could ask me to leave unexpectedly, adding uncertainty to my living situation. • Bitcoin is highly volatile and could potentially underperform, leading to significant financial losses. • I’d also need to purchase a car soon (something I already kind of want and need), which I’ve been able to postpone since I currently live very close to my office.
Most people I know see renting as “throwing away money,” but I feel this might actually set me up better financially in the long run and improve my quality of life.
I’m curious about your thoughts—especially from people who’ve made similar moves. Is this a smart financial play or potentially a huge mistake?
I already own some BTC but not a wholecoiner yet.

A questão era por que eles se incomodaram em deslistar/banir em primeiro lugar se não era um incômodo? Não por que eles não fizeram isso depois. Se não fosse uma ameaça, eles não teriam se incomodado nem um pouco.
O preço do Monero vem subindo há mais de um ano, e sua atividade de transação permaneceu a mesma, então aparentemente não fez muita coisa.
Efeito Streissand. O Monero foi mencionado recentemente em Tucker Carlson, Alex Jones e Peter Schiff como preferível ao Bitcoin para transações privadas.

É por isso que tenho o desejo de viajar por todo o Brasil ou, pelo menos, conhecer grande parte dele. É um País lindo, maravilhoso, onde essas paisagens naturais lhe passa uma sensação de tranquilidade ou glamour cujo os biomas diversos lhe proporciona diversas perspectivas do "belo"; Um exemplo disso surge no próprio post onde, inicialmente, o cara parece querer provocar às outras regiões exaltando o Sul e, em resposta a essa provocação, diversas outras pessoas saiu apontando outras regiões com cenários lindos e "melhores" do que esse. No meio desse embate a única coisa que vinha a minha mente é o desejo de ver isso, sentir o ambiente.
Em Agosto do ano passado eu precisei viajar pra Montes Claros, então observava o cenário através da janela do banco traseiro, árvores secas e finas com folhas secas não só nas árvores mas como também formando uma camada de folhagem na terra ingrime devido a cadeiamontanhosa - típico ambiente semiárido característico da minha mesorregião. Pode parecer desértico para alguns, diriam até feio, mas pra mim parecia lindo a sua maneira, as montanhas formava a rodovia um beco e a grama bem esverdeada dava um contraste ao marrom das rochas. Chegando a cidade vi um monte coberto de grama, um verde saudável parecendo como se fosse constantemente regado e cuidado, imagino que a distância me causou uma impressão ótica da folhagem ser proporcionalmente simétricas. De qualquer forma, aquela cena incrível e maravilhosa conseguia se estender para o limite dos meus olhos, combinava o fato de estarmos em um relevo alto tínhamos a visão de um céu completamente azul, enfeitado pelo branco das nuvens, estarem tão próximo do monte que chegava ao ponto de parecer dois camaradas dando um abraço de ombro enquanto saudava a minha chegada na cidade.
Esse País é lindo.

Actually his behavior has been much improved over the last few weeks and I think it has a lot to do with he’s been eating a lot more and better stuff. Thank God because I was about to start gavage feeding him like a foie gras good. Was that enough French for you?
