Man some og bitcoiners really sold their soul and simp for the strategic shitcoin reserve. Rationalizing that it will become 100% bitcoin allocation magically. As far as I know such funds/portfolios whatever are built on %-allocations. If Bitcoin pumps the allocation will get rebalanced (sold) so the %-allocation is like defined.
But even worse than that is that this legitimizes those shitcoins. It muddies the water and Bitcoin becomes indistinguishable from crypto. When those shitcoins do just fine with gov backing, why even keep PoW? If even the most obvious scams are on the same level / importance than Bitcoin, why does it need to be decentralized at all. Nothing matters.
Sadly it's slay your heroes time again.

Maybe worldwide, but in Europe 'oppressors' is too strong of a word. But yes, there was always plenty to criticize: invading any country with oil, interfering with sovereign nations, pulling us into their conflicts, arming who-knows-what kind of shady groups... Still, overall I saw them as the 'land of the free' (with plenty of exceptions—I wouldn't want to live there myself, etc.), and considered their impact net positive for us. Right now, though, people of my generation and those about 10 to 15 years older are experiencing genuine disillusionment with the US, perhaps for the first time.
As for Czech politics specifically, I don't think the US interfered here very much. Sure, they funded some NGOs and stuff, but as far as I know, it was never enough to really make the news or become an actual problem. On the other hand, around 2009, Russia messed with public opinion quite a lot. For example, they financed and supported groups protesting against building the US radar installation. Not mentioning having two of our former presidents in their pocket.
