对于白毛女、杨白劳和黄世仁这三个人物形象，许多大陆人乃至海外华人都并不陌生，甚至当今一些工作压力大的白领还会戏称自己的老板是“黄世仁”，潜台词就是自己被其“压榨”。而正是这一出演了几十年的《白毛女》，将“旧社会把人变成鬼，新社会把鬼变成人”的思想植入人心，欺骗了一代又一代中国人。从中 共的角度看，这可以称得上是文艺为政治服务的杰作。
然而，很多人并不知晓的是：白毛女并没有受过什么压迫，而真实的黄世仁更是勤劳本分、喜欢行善的地主。
先说说这个题材的由来。据大陆作家流沙河考证，晋察冀地区几百年来一直流传着“白毛仙姑”的故事。民间传说在在河北省平山县的一个山洞里，住着一个浑身长满白毛的仙姑。仙姑法力无边，能惩恶扬善，扶正祛邪，主宰人间的一切祸福，因此人们都前去上供。
在抗战期间的中共晋察冀根据地，因为晚上人们常常去给仙姑进贡，所以“斗争大会”常常开不起来。西北战地服务团的作家邵子南首先注意到了这个题材，为配合“斗争”需要，把村民们从仙姑庙中拉回来，他编了一个民间传奇，主题是“破除迷信，发动群众”，此为《白毛女》的雏形。
1944年5月，中共《晋察冀日报》记者李满天给周扬写信，讲述了这一故事。1945年，经历过延安整风运动后的延安鲁迅艺术学院的一些人，在院长周扬的指示下，根据这个传说以及河北地主的情况，创作出歌剧《白毛女》，并作为向中共“七大”的献礼。
歌剧《白毛女》的主要内容是：佃户杨白劳因还不起地主黄世仁的债被逼自尽，其女儿喜儿被用来抵债，被迫到黄家做工，遭黄奸污。后逃进深山，以庙中供果充饥，头发因此变白，被迷信的村民称为“白毛仙姑”。后来喜儿由过去的恋人，现已参加八路军的大春救出，一起下山，召开斗争大会，分了土地，打倒了地主。
据说，毛泽东还亲自示意戏的结尾要反应中共政策的转变，即“土地要分掉，黄世仁要枪毙”。因为抗战要结束，“减租减息”和“团结地主”的政策又要被“土地革命”和“打倒地主阶级”所取代了。显而易见，《白毛女》的主题就是要突出中共的“伟大”，突出一个“旧”中国结束，一个“新”社会的开始。
为了在艺术上博得人们的喜爱，《白毛女》不仅在情节上借鉴了民间文学中的冤冤相报、佳人落难以及英雄救美的模式，而且在音乐上大多取自河北、山西流传很久的民间小调，比如《北风吹》和《扎红头绳》便是原调抄袭。
经过优美艺术形式包装的歌剧《白毛女》在中共占领区上演后，产生了意想不到的后果：激起了人们对“新”社会的向往，对“旧”社会的仇恨，“旧社会把人变成鬼，新社会把鬼变成人”的思想为人们不知不觉接受——尽管人们在自己身边并没有看到什么“黄世仁”和“喜儿”。
1949年中共建政后，中共的文艺工作者们不仅拍出了电影《白毛女》，还编排了京剧、芭蕾舞剧等艺术形式的《白毛女》。“白毛女”成为中国人最为熟知的虚构形象之一，也是中共制造的最为成功的颠倒黑白的形象之一。

They don't sell your info, but they do share it with the corporate brand office who then does all sorts of things with that information. I worked at Toyota for a while and the dealerships would collect the data, send it on to the corporate office, and the corporate office would share it with their "partners" (other car related businesses who had some tenuous relationship with the brand). Because of whatever contractual relationship they had with these other businesses, the brand could get around the pledge not to sell your info to 3rd parties. It was shady AF.

近日，美国西弗吉尼亚州财政部长、共和党人莱利·M·摩尔（Riley M. Moore） 宣布，他将在本周五提出一项“突破性立法”，全面禁止中国公民获取美国学生签证。摩尔在社交媒体上表示，每年约有30万中国学生赴美留学，而中共正利用这一通道进行间谍活动，因此美国不能再对中国留学生开放大门。
近年来，美中关系紧张加剧，尤其在技术、国防和国家安全领域，美国政府已采取多项措施限制中国留学生的签证，特别是涉及AI、半导体和军民两用技术的学科。然而，摩尔的提案更进一步，意图彻底关闭中国学生赴美留学的渠道。

然而这一提案与美国国务院近期调整对华措辞形成鲜明对比。国务院声称要“区分中国政府和中国人民”，但现实是，美方在执行层面无法做出真正的区分。从川普时期的“中国行动计划”到如今不断收紧的留学和科研签证，普通中国学生的留美之路早已变得举步维艰。
更关键的是，美国高校和科技行业仍高度依赖中国留学生，特别是在STEM（科学、技术、工程、数学）领域。如果该法案获得通过，将对中美教育交流和学术合作带来重大影响，对硅谷的工作生态圈也将带来重大变化。
