Interesting. I hadn’t heard of Moringa before. I’ll have to look into it.
I’ve stopped taking most supplements that I had been using for the moment as I’m trying to figure out what actually makes a difference. I feel my energy levels have dropped a little but I’m not sure yet if that is from cutting back on caffeine, cutting the other supplements, or just tiredness from some late nights of work.
I have also considered trying to drop coffee completely but I do enjoy having a coffee and I would probably just end up substituting for some other type of drink which isn’t necessarily that helpful.

this thing about "nips being approved" and in this case "buds being approved" is quite funny
if you know it works, just build it
you know why "being approved" matters? because the majority of important clients are built by guardians of the nips
you know what the solution is? start building towards your own clients
they are not competent or qualified to be guardians of the protocol if they can't comprehend the need to innovate, and if that innovation doesn't happen, there is a net harm in that existing problems remain unsolved
my personal take on this is forget about trying to get approval from the nip guardians, write the spec, and get some quality client devs to integrate it, build a team and get a typescript library written for it, done
then after that the nip guardians are playing catch-up
this is why #gitcitadel has happened

#golang has very strong protection against bad commits on dependencies, the go.sum file records version and hash and unless you manually update them they stay stable, and the go module caching service they run keeps that alive even if the original disappears, pretty sure they don't delete very much stuff off it either unless it's really old

i pulled in btcec to my #realy because it involved a heap of dependencies including decred, where the actual schnorr library lives
but the cgo secp256k1 library it is just pulled in via regular dynamic linking

Yes! We desperately need to diversify our funding sources and expand the Nostr financial market.
There's nothing wrong with getting an OpenSats grant, but there's also nothing wrong with getting no grant, or a grant from somewhere else.
We need lots of different funding models. This doesn't just diversify the funding; it would also diversify the projects because devs would target different markets to gain that funding.

As much as it sucks to get locked out of what you thought was your own account, this experience is teaching others an extremely valuable lesson about data ownership.
Now that you’re building a new presence on Nostr, make sure to back up your nsec in more than one place. I use two different password managers and an offline backup as well. A $10 USB stick in a fireproof lockbox should suffice.
The only person who can lock you out of Nostr is yourself.

Yes, but they weren't always doing so, and they may eventually stop doing so.
If they continue to fund work on a project, for more than a year or two, then they're not really a startup fund. They're just a software company with a line of brands, which are competitors to the brands they don't own. Of course, the same people sometimes also own some of the competitors, over other funds. Whole thing is very confusing. Funding spaghetti.
