I’ve been trying to figure this out myself. From my observations it looks like it prioritises comments over zaps/likes but I think it is possibly unique commenters which is why the “influencer” GM notes end up at the top..
There could also be a weighting for those with Primal Legend status or others that they specifically want to promote as there are some that end up higher up without much engagement but it is hard to tell. Personally I don’t think it is a useful algorithm.

The large blocks are Douglas Fir, believe me it has plenty of knots. The smaller stuff is mostly Lodgepole Pine, the stem is pretty much knot free, until close to the top of the tree.
Now it's my turn to be jelly, I'd love to be able to get my hands on some Red Oak, Cherry or Elm.

Bitcoin is a great condender in that regard, as is the Gita or the Bible or the Quran or the winds, rain, sun, or moon. But worshipping any of these without seeing the God within them is the fundamental oversight that keeps people spiritually deluded.

I recently started using Go and I love it. My first programming language was PHP. And you know why? Because I could run it in a browser. I had no idea how the terminal worked or how to run C code. I even wrote a computational mathematics paper in high school and I wrote the algorithm in PHP 😂🤣
