If you want money for coding, you have to demand the money BEFORE you code.
AFTER you code, you get paid for services like support, maintenance, computation, or curation.

There's also just the whole fallacy of "ossified software", where you can program something and just leave it to rot.
That's a complete non-starter on Nostr, as the protocol is constantly changing, expanding, being refactored, etc. You have to update at least a couple of times, per year, or it'll eventually break or become obsolete.
There's no such thing as Nostr One Hit Wonder.

I tried Plex first. I didn’t like it. It has streaming similar to Netflix.
Then I tried Jellyfin. Much better. Fully customizable. There’s also lots of plugins you can add (some to skip the intro in anime for example). Also Jellyfin is open source, contrary to Plex.

😂 the onlyzaps fanboys replying with a reaction instead of just hitting the react button makes me giggle, that's not a short comment that's a thumbs up or a heart with more steps. I like to zap, I like to use custom reacts in amethyst, I appreciate any engagement 🤷♀️. There have been many missed choice reactions by the people using the onlyzaps feature. yeah, this is why auth should be http layer not socket layer, IMO
the spec does not make it clear what auth state is
i just resolved it by filtering requests of privileged kinds (dms mainly) until the socket gets auth and then it stores the auth
nostr auth is a mess, and it's the direct product of the unclear state of a socket, when is the socket authed, or not, or is it just requests that are authed, or is it ... :GRRRRRRRR:
this is why i will have a fully HTTP except subscriptions (which need sockets for push) protocol built out in the next two weeks
and you all will adopt it because it makes the relays run faster and simplifies your client code

not only that, since feeding my cat on actual cooked meats, mainly veal steaks and shellfish, all today, he literally isn't hungry
all day, barely he ate maybe 50g of food
and he's not sick, he's actually getting more well every day i keep feeding him real food
what i do, is basically cook my meals in two parts, one is the meat part, which i split out half for kitty, and then the vegetables and whatnot i usually add to it
i eat two times as much meat every day plus usually a lot of fluids and an equal weight of peas and corn and carrots and suchlike, often a few hundred grams of potato
so, it's patently nonsense
the cat is eating maybe half as much meat as me, and if i was eating full carnivore he'd be eating a quarter
i'm only not eating full carnivore because i can't literally get beef (it's all veal, which is lean, smelly trash) and there is literally no other option in europe but pork, pork, more porke, and pork morpork. oh and chicken, cage chicken, fed on soybeans.
i hate pork, and i hate veal, and i literally have to cook my eggs fully so the yolk is hard because otherwise i get a protein allergy from them that i presume is because of zein from the corn they feed them. or soybean protein, idk what it is but it's really really nasty
idk even what to do to stop suffering allergies at this point except migrate to USA where i can get grass fed grass finished beef and not actually eat toxic grain proteins, it's REALLY bad man, i mean really bad in europe, if you have plant protein allergies you can't get away from plant proteins even with many animal products that are contaminated with it just by the production process let alone the majority of semi-processed products that are laced with soy protein
