💯 it's fascinating how weird modern products are once you figure out how the originals are made.
Like, I make my own soap and now I don't buy cleaning products. Baking soda and vinegar can clean anything. And all you need for laundry is washing soda and oxygen bleach. Spritz a bit of vinegar into the dryer instead of a dryer sheet. So many little things like that.

Melt it down in a small pot, make sure the additives are dissolved, and pour. That's it. Seems like the petrolatum does the heavy lifting in giving it a good hardness. Maybe I could adjust the proportions depending on how I want it.

🥵 I turn in to a dried out husk. I tell everyone that you get used to the humidity, lol. Winter is awful when we have a decent one, I'm always sooooo itchy from being dry. So funny we each adapt and are sensitive to the changes.

1.5g menthol
1g eucalyptus essential oil
Trying to recreate the medicated chapstick that works great for chapped lips. Though it more closely resembles Vicks 😂
