I was craving a muffin today. Totally weird craving, or so I thought. Got a muffin from the local grocery store bakery and ate it for dessert after lunch. I had no idea why I was craving a muffin.
I totally forgot about what today's #BitcoinDayOfTheYear image was until I saw this post on Nostr because I made the Bitcoin muffin image last night. I try to put out a new one each day around midnight (UTC). My memory gets completely wiped every time I sleep... like seriously, clean slate wiped. Every single day. So since I slept, I forgot about the Bitcoin National Muffin Day, but I was still having what I thought was just a craving for a muffin.
So maybe cravings do have a hidden reason. Next time you have a craving for something, like a sticky bun perhaps, check my feed to to see what #BitcoinDayOfTheYear is that day. Maybe it might be National Sticky Bun Day. ;-)

the other novel thing i'm seeing with the #catstr on this actual meat diet is he drinks quite a lot of water actually
canned and dry cat food are poison, even when they don't contain grains
they really don't need much... a nice fatty chewy chunk of beef about 150g a day that's it, done, literally one hamburger patty for a 2-3kg cat
but don't feed it hamburger, or cheesburger... just slightly chopped up chunks of steak.

Your test is not really helpful for my proposed improvement as you use a normal distribution for the user-relay relation with some drastic assumption else, too. 5 inboxes might be good for most users but some users might max that out, too.

so, i have been feeding #mochi the #catstr char grilled beef loin
and i waved cheesy treats in front of his face
and he just can't find any interest in consuming it
literally, i am feeding him less weight of food now, that he takes about 5x as long to eat, and he doesn't want any more
if you never knew about this, beef fat contains stearic acid, which is a precursor to a hormone that signals satiety
i am seeing it play out right in front of me in another (carnivore) species
oh yeah, and that thing about "obligate carnivore"
yes you can feed cats seed based foods, but usually you have to boost it with yeast extract for them to even want to touch it
they will die in about 5 years, cats, if you feed them a purely seed and yeast based diet, usually of kidney failure
their potential lifespan is about 20 years
so do the math... if humans are similar (we are very similar) then if on average we die about 50 from diabeetus from a grain and yeast extract based diet
then we probably can live about 200 years also, at least
the old average was based on a diet that has more than 50% of the calories coming from starches... that gave you the ~80 year lifespan
don't let anyone pull the wool over your eyes
we are no less carnivores than cats
and like cats we can survive for a while on grains
but it dramatically reduces lifespan
