Yeah itโs an incredibly hard problem for which there are no easy answers. Just my experience was this was unexpected, and was a nonstarter for the beneficiary. Theyโre not into bitcoin and donโt want to have to store a physical device and are scared theyโd lose it.

The system is definitely broken. The vocational classes in our local school are blow-off classes, mainly because the teachers aren't engaged or aren't qualified to teach the class but were emergency certified because there was no one else. We only recently discovered this because of an exchange student staying with my sister telling us about what all goes on.
We've always talked about our kid having some kind of skill and he's just not going to be encouraged to do that in the public school system. We're jumping on the home school train soon. There are so many opportunities with the freedom of learning all the things instead of what's on the yearly test.

Iโve been doing this (not on social media) for quite a while. I have had some success, but itโs easy for that to be negated by an infamous scam or an association with a political movement that they are disgusted by. A bunch of the people I knew who were into bitcoin early have moved on because of this.

The main take away I got from this pod hinges on everyone's reliance on Bitcoin Core, and to a smaller extent Knots. We need 100 different Libbitcoin interfaces with the network. Eric is a very knowledgeable guy and his work is invaluable. So heed the warning, SINGLE POINTS OF FAILURE are bad. Everyone looking at robust layer 2 solutions (scaling money is not a compsci reference) might want to check their Presuppositions about a robust layer 1.
Regardless there's no point in convincing people to use one money or another, the results speak way clearer and louder than roadmaps and function adds. If Bitcoin was worthless no one would waste their energy making them, or trading for them, or using them. So, that on its face isn't true. From that framework there are still a multitude of possibilities.

i use charcoal that is formed in my bbq to filter rain water, works great... mainly just to catch the microplastics and odd bit of crap like car exhaust polution and pesticide residue coming from my neighbours farms
