I think he meant trying to stack to a *total* of the current epoch's block reward; i.e., try to stack a total of 3.125 bitcoin before the halving in 2028.
If that fails, then I guess we can each try to stack 1.5625 bitcoin before the 2032 halving, or 0.78125 bitcoin before the 2036 halving, etc.
But even *that* might be too difficult for most people. It's still a worthwhile goal, though!

Not really. The president in Ireland has limited duties, and is more like a head of state. The taoisearch is more like a PM or president in other countries. The Taoisearch is nominated by the representatives.
The president has some powers however, but mostly to preserve the constitution.

Not really, no.
The price of gold was fixed at one rate, and most gold was held by America(75% of the global supply) until 1971. A rate they was used by nearly ever developed country for exchange and trade. You couldn't really just go to your gold guy like you can now. 90% of all gold was custodial until the mid 60s.

In deze aflevering bespreken we waarop je moet letten bij het installeren van de update van de Bitcoin Core Software.
Paul legt uit waarom het belangrijk is een node te draaien en wat aandachtspunten zijn bij het updaten van de Bitcoin Software. Een van de punten is om dit niet meteen te doen en eventueel te wachten tot anderen de eerste bugs eruit hebben gehaald. Het kan, voor diegene die ertoe technisch in staat zijn, leuk zijn om de updates alvast te lezen in de "change-log".
Het belangrijkste is dat je realiseert dat je buiten het kopen van Bitcoin ook op een andere manier betrokken kan zijn bij - en deel uit kan maken van het Bitcoin netwerk. Let op, dit is een best technische aflevering ;-)
