That’s awful. Yeah it was so obvious to me that he’s not a good guy. I know nothing about them (and also didn’t know jack wasn’t the ceo for a span of time) but “Ev’s” presence alone in this doc is reading to me to me like he’s trying to distance himself from the responsibility of Twitter, which, like - is consistent with his evading personality in saying “I knew he wasn’t ready but I didn’t want ceo…” It’s just a shame he’s older and playing the same games.

It was fun to watch, i was worried they’d portray Jack as the villain but the didn’t seem to do that, in this episode at least. And yeah, Ev… I’ll let others tell that story, just pointing out that he did the same thing at Blogger, Twitter, and Medium.
Ok, I’ve tried really hard to be polite and nice about it, but i will say something, Ev promised us that our stock options would be honored then did an asset sale that effectively left the early employees and angel investors with nothing. Sometime around a decade after twitter launched, i got a check for $1200… pretty shit for stock options which were on paper worth 1.4% of the company. That was 100% Ev’s doing.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Digital Asset Stockpile will store all other non-Bitcoin assets obtained through forfeiture.
Additionally, the Secretaries of Treasury and Commerce will craft budget-neutral strategies to acquire more Bitcoin for the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, but no such plans will be made for other digital assets. This marks a historic shift: the U.S. government is developing an acquisition strategy specifically for Bitcoin, not crypto.

"An article I wrote with Troy Cross, published a couple years ago called "Mine Your Values". The idea there—it’s kind of a pun—is that we have values, things we care about and wish to promote in the world.

I found that some of the fat needs time to render on a ribeye. Reverse sear usually solves that problem to me, while keeping the steak at around 110F. But maybe there is a way on the grill to complete the job.
