Context understood. Thank you. You were clearly triggered when writing the post.
I have been observing in myself that when I try and communicate from this triggered state, my message looses any signal and just becomes (largely) noise. Like 99 percent of platformed SM.
That’s what makes Nostr unique and valuable from my perspective. Not how many people are engaging, but how they are engaging. Signal vs Noise.
Psychedelics are not for everyone, IMO. They are NO panacea as often preached by the uninformed. They amplify and loosen stuck energy patterns that are PRE-existing in the individual human consuming them, as well as the human psyche in general (archetypes). That is where the opportunities AND risks are.
All of that being said, when used intentionally and intelligently, I believe they offer humanity an invaluable tool in cleaning and healing the nervous system. Both for the individual and humanity as a whole. I find it no coincidence that they are re-emerging in the public Zeitgeist just as humanity seems to need an accelerated “shift” 🧬
So let’s not “throw the baby out with the bath water” 💦 😉

EU in spanning over Duitse verkiezingen: pakt het land weer leidersrol?
De verkiezingen in Duitsland zullen een grote invloed hebben op de koers van de Europese Unie de komende jaren. Het grootste land van de EU heeft de beste kaarten in handen om de richting van de EU te bepalen. De huidige bondskanselier Scholz verzuimde die leidersrol op te pakken. En dus zijn nu alle ogen gericht op de waarschijnlijke winnaar van de komende verkiezingen: Scholz' rivaal Friedrich Merz.
De EU moet een aantal ingewikkelde knopen doorhakken. De noodzaak om dat te doen is met de herintrede van Donald Trump in het Witte Huis alleen maar groter geworden. Zo moet de EU beslissen wat te doen met de steun aan Oekraïne nu de Amerikanen hun handen hier mogelijk van aftrekken. En ook moet de EU beslissen waar de honderden miljarden euro's extra voor defensie vandaan moeten komen.
Om dat laatste punt eruit te pikken: de Duitsers zijn vooralsnog tegen gezamenlijk lenen in EU-verband, net als Nederland. Maar christendemocraat Merz zette de deur voor zulke leningen wel op een kier. Als hij na zondag inderdaad de kar gaat trekken, kan de discussie over de financiering in een stroomversnelling komen. De verwachting is dat Nederland bij een draai van Duitsland ook het verzet zal staken.
Stug en stuurs
Sociaaldemocraat Olaf Scholz gold in de drie jaar dat hij aan de macht was allesbehalve als leider van de EU. In tijden van grote geopolitieke spanning zagen andere EU-landen vooral een twijfelende bondskanselier die voorzichtig was met wapenleveranties aan Oekraïne.
Daarnaast bekoelden onder Scholz de verhoudingen met dat andere belangrijke EU-land: Frankrijk. Een persoonlijke klik tussen de Franse president Macron en Scholz was ver te zoeken en ook inhoudelijk kregen ze de handen niet op elkaar. Scholz is "stug en stuurs", zegt een ingewijde, "en dat kan arrogant overkomen".
Nu is het meer regel dan uitzondering dat Frankrijk en Duitsland een andere kijk op de zaken hebben. Dat hoeft geen probleem te zijn. Belangrijk is dat de twee landen het uiteindelijk wel eens worden.
Overeenstemming tussen de twee grootmachten betekent dat de Europese motor draait. Voormalig bondskanselier Merkel hield die motor samen met Macron draaiende. Met Scholz liep het minder gesmeerd. "We hadden de indruk dat Scholz de EU een beetje irritant en vermoeiend vond."
Merz de Europeaan
'Iedereen beter dan Scholz' tekende de nieuwswebsite Euractiv op uit de mond van een Franse diplomaat. En Friedrich Merz, oud-Europarlementariër, lijkt inderdaad een meer Europese koers voor te staan. Zo zei hij tijdens de verkiezingscampagne dat hij de jaren dat Macron nog president van Frankrijk is wil gebruiken om samen werk te maken van een soeverein Europa.
Ook belooft hij dat zijn eerste buitenlandse reis naar Frankrijk en Polen zal gaan, dezelfde dag welteverstaan. Doel 'het eens worden over concrete gezamenlijke plannen.'
Merz lijkt in tegenstelling tot Scholz wel bereid om langeafstandsraketten te leveren aan Oekraïne. Of hij uiteindelijk ook bereid is militairen naar Oekraïne te sturen om een bestand te bewaken is nog niet duidelijk.
Wat gaat de AfD doen?
Waar de ogen vooral gericht zijn op christendemocraat Merz en zijn toekomstige rol is daar ook nog de rechts-radicale AfD. Fractievoorzitter Alice Weidel zit op een heel andere koers: zij wil sancties tegen Rusland opheffen en pleit ervoor de gaskraan voor Russisch gas weer open te draaien.
Wat betreft de EU was Weidel ook tijdens de campagne weer duidelijk: zij moet er niks hebben van en wil die het liefst van binnenuit verzwakken. In het verkiezingsprogramma staat dat de partij wil stoppen met de euro.
Ook al lijkt het uitgesloten dat Weidel de nieuwe bondskanselier wordt, een historische zege ligt wel in het vooruitzicht. En hoe forser de winst, hoe moeilijker het zal zijn voor Merz om het geluid van AfD, ook bij optredens in de EU, te negeren.
De AfD kan haar invloed na de verkiezingen mogelijk ook vergroten in het Europees Parlement. De Hongaarse premier Orban ziet namelijk opnieuw een toekomst voor de AfD in zijn Patriotten voor Europa. De Hongaarse partij Fidesz is daarvan hofleverancier. Voor Nederland doet de PVV mee, voor Frankijk Rassemblement National van Marine le Pen.
Partijgenoot Von der Leyen
Na omstreden uitspraken van Maximilian Krah, de toenmalige fractievoorzitter van de AfD, dat 'niet iedere SS'er automatisch een crimineel was', werd de partij uit de club van Orban gezet. Maar Krah is niet langer de leider van de AfD-fractie en wat Orban betreft is het dus tijd voor een terugkeer van de rechts-radicalen. Het zou het geluid van de Patriotten voor Europa, derde partij in het EP, verder versterken.
Maar de EU is op dit moment vooral aan het afwachten of Duitsland onder Merz zijn leidersrol weer pakt. Dat hij ook nog eens van dezelfde partij is als voorzitter van de Europese Commissie Ursula von der Leyen kan zijn werk gemakkelijker maken.
Samen met Manfred Weber, de Duitse partijgenoot die in het Europees parlement de machtigste fractie leidt kan Merz hij de komende jaren bepalend worden voor de koers van de EU.
