Some of religion is actually based in physics and math. Hinduism for example has the concept of Veda (knowledge) teachings that delve into sound resonance and the tuning of the mind to nature. This is actually based in physics - the resonance of microtubules in neurons. There is a quantum component to all of it which is super fascinating. I am currently down this rabbit hole so I don’t know much and probably sound like an idiot trying to describe it.

It seems the only way to really make the switch to a free internet is by deleting your other social.
If you don’t, you risk going back and staying there. The information is more interesting, faster, more tailored, but this is the price you pay for building a new system. Leave and people will notice. Eventually enough people leaving creates a momentum and incentive to switch.

The new usbc is 40gbps transfer and charges at 240w, but you need a charger that is capable of outputting that and a device that can charge at that and most don’t - not even the new iPhones (not sure about android). I think only the frame laptop can currently charge at 240w. So it’s more future-proofing than anything but the transfer speeds are awesome - but again, depend on your device ports. (Usb4, thunderbolt 4, pcie4, display port 2.0)

I was at a party tonight, and someone was referencing a person who says, “Biden was the best president in history”.
I was thinking about it, and I realized that i no longer have any desire to relate to people who think like this. And oddly enough, it actually has little to do with politics. If someone can think this, with all of the significant evidence of extreme criminality that is readily available, i do not trust their ability to asses basic reality, or make rational decisions. Which makes them dangerous. I dont wish them any ill will, but im not interested in relying on them, or relating to them in any significant way. It makes me a little uncomfortable feeling this way, but that is where im at.

Of course these should be converted before they are sent, so the ones that get included in the filter wouldn’t be included in the search field... Just thinking of somekind of standard so that users can use the same syntax no matter what app they are using.
There might be some modifiers that are unrecognized, so maybe if the query contains key:value nip50+ could try to parse it out regardless if it recognizes it or not

Whats cool about this vs the current damus iOS search is that it has full nostr filter support. Meaning you can narrow down the fulltext search by author, date range, etc.
I’m thinking about supporting this via advanced search modifiers like:
“from:nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 since:yesterday bitcoin fixes this”
