People obsess over losing keys, Jesus... My first data loss was in late 80s (cassette tape) and since then I lost many things. Yes, I hoard some types of media or files, but I lost the attachment to data, really.
With SM (social media), we suspend the reality that it's just bits. SM
is not holding my identity at all. To me, it's UIs and notifications that you can feel nice about because the corners are rounded and gradients are there.
If I lose a key, I make a new one and look after it better and continue from zero. Experienced creatives know this: you often create a better work, after you lose your copy
of the first stab that looked/sounded perfect.
If I lose all bitcoin, I start stacking from zero. If someone takes over my profile, well, maybe we need a facility to revoke keys (with another key😅) and specify a date after which another key takes over.
Life after loss isn't a loss of life.
It's a new life thanks to a wonderful feature humans have and computer systems often lack: forgetting.
Forgetting is a feature.

Surprisingly, I don't recall a single instance where anyone's Nostr account was hacked. Entering your private key into an insecure app would be the most obvious way how that could happen.
Compromise of a popular app would be bad. Maybe we'll need app and device specific keys signed by other keys of yours at some point.
However, Nostr doesn't have the traditional attack vectors associated with passwords, email, SMS and third party account recovery, which is already very good.

The cool thing about this spam filter is that the LLM provides an explanation of why it thinks something is spam, which i can include as a local reply to them email after my workflow marks it as spam.
The workflow so far is:
1. Feed in raw email -> generate analysis of if its spam or not
2. Feed in analysis -> get LLM to generate a single SPAM or NOTSPAM token by reading the analysis and making a decision
I then check for this SPAM token and mark the email as +spam and/or +analyzed with notmuch.
the tagging potential of this beyond just spam is huge. best of all its all local AI, so no need to feed my person emails to the openai machine.

- if offers different types of relays, explain what’s the difference
- offer a link to learn more (hopefully a video guide)
- explain what the statuses mean
- if offering a caching service, explain what that is and how it works
- if offering ability to add relays on top of a caching service, explain how that works.
- provide some explanation for recommended relays (why are they recommended to me?)

This. It’s all super confusing and nobody seems to make any effort to explain anything in UI.
I advocated for UI helper tips more than a year ago and as far as I know there hasn’t been any progress at all.
