I did, I used it on an Lenovo NUC 32GB RAM, 2 TB SSD.
It worked fine, except the partition that holds the apps and data (the Bitcoin blockchain) was by default partitioned to 5GB.
After some research, it was suggested I run it on Debian.
I gave up and installed Start9, which is an actual OS, I now use as a test node.

I recently had a short email conversation with an zakat organization in Germany. I asked them if they accept Bitcoin because I can't sell it beforehand and pay in fiat. Selling it would trigger a taxable event, the consequences of which I’d only see in my tax return next year, etc.
And their response? They told me to estimate the tax portion beforehand, deduct it, and then pay the rest. And I was like: What??
I wrote to them again, but no response since then.
Honestly, man, they all need to start accepting Sats—yesterday. Otherwise, this isn’t going anywhere.

Just starting to play with it.
I've watched it for a while trying to understand its use case, but then a friend who was interested receiving Bitcoin payments in their business messaged me, which prompted me to go down the merchant service rabbit hole.
I started looking at LNBits and realised it was a full stack of Merchant service tools, but also an open platform that could have anything built for it. It includes a suite of NOSTR tools, but also many other individual tools like a ticketing system, lottery games and gambling games like coin toss etc...
It also doesn't require a full node, instead giving options like phoenixd connector or Liquid / Boltz swaps.

Can also depend on host... on Nostrmedia.com we do lossy compression but it's barely noticeable degradation on quality. That way the images/videos still look good and are fast to load. No one wants to wait on a giant image/video to render lol

The reason why it's interesting is that stuff that works on most other platforms—stuff that harvests your eyeballs and/or brain cycles—doesn't do well on nostr, especially in terms of zaps.
