區分具體資訊的真假不是很重要，因為假資訊可以分析出真正可靠的結論，真資訊也可以分析出完全不可靠的結論。
這就是我為什麼我認為沈志華和楊奎松儘管掌握了很多真資訊卻沒有分析出真正的結論。
有很多假資訊能夠說明你分析出真正的結論。比如說像是「田中奏摺」，現在我們都知道這其實是一份偽造的文件。
它說日本軍方和內閣正在策畫怎樣分割滿蒙分割中國，但是現在大家都知道這是完全捏造的。
但是，捏造的東西也可以告訴你一些真實資訊。
它說明什麼問題呢？說明當時中日之間的關係是多麼微妙，而且日本國內各政治集團的博弈前景不明，有很多人都在懷疑這種博弈最終的結果會使日本把內部的憲法鬥爭釋放出來的能量外向化，把國內的政治鬥爭帶到亞洲大陸來。
這在霸權國家當中是非常常見的。
羅馬的黨內鬥爭往往就會以在海外發動戰爭的方式來解決，美國其實也是這個樣子，所有霸權國家都是這個樣子的。
日本國內的憲法鬥爭在解決不了的情況下，它可能通過拓殖滿蒙來解決它的國內危機，這種可能性已經是迫在眉睫了。
而且由於相互猜忌的緣故，即使日本人原本沒有這樣的打算，就因為中國方面懷疑你想這樣，那麼雙方都會不得不做戰爭準備，雙方做的戰爭準備越多，那麼戰爭就越有可能爆發，這就是預言的自我實現。
在這種情況下，「田中奏摺」儘管是假資訊，但它卻傳達了很多真實的內容，你完全可以從假資訊中間判斷出真實的格局來。
所以，資訊真假本身不是關鍵，本身其實是比較次要的問題。
關鍵在於，你能夠在各種紛繁雜亂的資訊中間讓格局自動顯現。
打比方說，如果你是一位學過圍棋的人，你肯定知道圍棋都是有布局的。
實際上，圍棋水準的高低不是憑你具體的下某一步棋的路數來看的，而是憑你判斷格局的能力。
如果你能在別人看不出格局的情況下正確地看出格局，而且通過格局能正確分析出對手的動向，用自己的格局去控制他的格局，那麼你就是一個圍棋高手。
如果你看不出別人的格局，而別人卻識破了你的格局，而且別人的格局能夠拖著你的格局走，在這種情況下，你就是一個低手。
如果你看不出別人的格局或者看錯了別人的格局，你就是一個低手，你下棋是一定會失敗的。
低手和高手的區別就在這裡。
