My name's Mike and I'm a money enthusiast from the USA with a passion for collecting money. I collect money of various types but my favorites are USD and BTC. I used to run a moderately successful software development company providing business intelligence but I recently pivoted to collecting money on a more professional basis as this is more my passion in life.
Whilst collecting money is my day job, I also enjoy collecting money evenings, weekends and any free time I get when I'm not collecting money. I often collect money when I'm asleep and people give me money to collect money with, it's pretty wild to be honest.
It's a bit like heroin, no matter how much I collect it's never enough and if I away from collecting money for any more than 30 minutes I tend to get pretty serious withdrawal symptoms. I hate withdrawal symptoms and much prefer deposits!
I don't have any kids, which is great as it frees up a tonne of time to collect more money. Kids are pretty stupid and very expensive.
I'm yet to set up a wallet for Nostr but soon as I do I'll be collecting money on here too.

Look what happened to Zap Steam. Freeloaders took advantage of the free sats and now new users don't get free sats. This is why I said going forward on the Bitcoin standard nothing should l be free. There is too many freeloaders on the internet.
What were they doing? Were they making new accounts everytime their balance went to 0 so they could steam forever?
When I joined I got 1000 free sats and I have been streaming with those free sats. When my balance hits 0 I will reload my account because I support Zap Steam and want the website to keep improving.
If you work hard to build something don't give it out for free. Push back on the freeloaders. We will win.

The thing I hate the most on Markdown and AsciiDoc is the 6 levels of headers that we need to find a way to render nicely with just formatting changes (we can't do numberated sections).
No one uses 6 levels of headers without enumerating them. It's just dumb.

That can work, but it can't be the link alone. We need to have some form of opengraph tags in the event itself for the client to build a preview of the post as if it was a web link.

The American healthcare system is such a joke. A couple weeks ago, I had a small mole removed from the side of my right thigh near my knee. Maybe 20 minutes worth of work.
As an out-of-network provider, I now owe over $1K, and that is after my insurance chipped in a bit.
A rep I talked to suggested that I get my primary care clinic to write a referral back to my insurance so my dermatology clinic could be reclassified as "in network". Then I'd have to contact dermatology again in order to ask them to reprocess my charges and see if I can pay slightly less.
Of course, this is after I've already forked over ~$400, so I'll also have to ask for a refund if insurance ends up covering more of it.
I've had at least five phone calls and multiple messages back and forth already between my primary care clinic, the insurance, and the dermatology clinic, and I'm still waiting on my insurance to let me know if the primary's referral was approved.
All this for a tiny mole that was just a little suspect.
