Some Bitcoin History...
On this day in 2013, an undiscovered discrepancy between the Bitcoin 0.7 and recently released 0.8 client versions caused an unintentional hard fork (a network split).
After a storm of discussion and organizing by developers, the community, services, and miners, a consensus on downgrading nodes to 0.7 was reached and over nearly 6 hours the dominant hash power migrated back to the 0.7 chain.
After reaching a peak of 8 blocks ahead of the other chain, the forked chain finally fell behind the 0.7 version and 24 blocks were orphaned at once from the forked chain, marking when all of the software across the entire Bitcoin ecosystem fell back into consensus.
What I'm doing today:
• I'm taking at least 24 minutes out of the day to review some bitcoin code, and/or learn at least one new thing about Bitcoin code and how it works. The more eyes and expertise we have in the ecosystem, the stronger and more resilient Bitcoin is.
Wild to have lived through this little part of Bitcoins life.

I've read widely, and engaged with a lot of views (this conversation is a case in point). Some non-Christian ideologies appeal to me to some degree (buddhism, quantum consciousness). But radical individualism ain't one of them.
What I'm referring to by the way is GK Chesterton's observation that just as a bullet is just as round as the earth, all world views are equally circular, but some have more explanatory power. Radical individualism has very little explanatory power IMO.

Mostly because local provides very cool mobile data savings, especially if you are using multiple Nostr apps at the same time.
There is no need to re-download the same profiles in every app. There is no need to re-download profile images in every app.
Nostr likes shareable data. It is one of the main benefits of using a signed data structure. Even when it gets to your OS, all the apps installed in it can work with the same events.

That's what Trump is planning on doing. He will then give the states the power of education .
Abolishing the department of education is a massive win but you need to keep fighting to also abolish the education from the states.
The states have no business running the education. The education should be run by the local community which will end up being run by people you know and can trust, most likely the wives of the community and will have much lower class sizes which will end up with better education.
Of course you will pay for it out of your own pocket but since the plan is to also abolish the IRS, you will have more money.
Just remember don't trust the state with educating your children.
