Mostly because many clients just add a bunch of stuff there when you login or create an account.
Your client doesn't read from your OutBox and Inbox relays. That list is for your followers to download your posts and send information back to you.
It's not for you to use in your apps. The app should have a separate list that is designed for your own usage, which then can have more relays than the ones you tell your followers about.

Somebody might need to run some tests in production. There are many things that affect that speed, including:
- Spam detection procedures
- Database Index refresh
- Key priority (paid users go first) to both post and see a post
- Content classification tools (safe for kids relays)
- Event redistribution to the CDN servers in separate locations

**Caso Filipe Martins resume a falência moral do Brasil**
*Artigo de Fernão Lara Mesquita publicado em 11/03/2025 no Vespeiro*
O caso do Filipe Martins, o assessor internacional de Jair Bolsonaro preso pelo Alexandre de Moraes, que eu faço questão de registrar também por escrito pra que vocês possam ir e vir nele e tirar todas as suas dúvidas, é dos mais cabeludos nesse retrato da completa falência moral do Brasil que é esse processo falsificado do “gópi”.
Ele foi enfiado nesse relatório final da PF com atraso, e por isso entregou a defesa dele somente ontem, ao fim dos 15 dias que todos os acusados tiveram para ler e responder as mais de 80 mil páginas de acusações delirantes que ele contém.
Martins caiu nas garras de Alexandre de Moraes porque passou a ser necessário, no enredo produzido pela imaginação de seus assessores entre 8 de janeiro de 2023 e 8 de fevereiro de 2024 quando ele foi preso, produzir uma “prova adicional” da existência da famigerada “minuta do golpe” que seria a “prova material”, não de que tenha havido o “gópi” mas, ao menos, de que ele tenha sido cogitado.
É o mesmo tipo de raciocínio que mantem mais de 400 pessoas presas e condenadas a passar o resto de seus dias na prisão “sem anistia” desde que, a partir de 9 de janeiro de 2023, Lula e seus asseclas decidiram renomear o tipo de manifestação que seu partido fez a vida inteira de “golpe de estado”: manter aquelas senhoras todas presas pelo resto de suas vidas é necessário para manter a coerência da narrativa de que houve o golpe que não houve, simplesmente porque não ha golpe sem golpistas.
Coisas deste Brasil surreal, onde a história vai sendo reescrita pelo avesso: a cada nova mentira atirada na nossa cara, fazem-se necessárias outras tantas mentiras na nossa cara para provar que a mentira inicial é a verdade.
Deu pra entender?
A “prova” contra Filipe Martins – a famigerada “minuta do golpe” – tinha “passado a existir” por ter sido mencionada nos depoimentos arrancados a Mauro Cid nas desesperadas tentativas dele de resgatar sua família tomada como refém.
No papel que foi apresentado como sendo a tal minuta (porque o original nunca foi apresentado), o que está escrito é uma simples cópia do artigo 136 da Constituição de 88 que trata da decretação do estado de emergência, que teria sido discutida numa reunião de que ha registro oficial do presidente da republica com juristas como Ives Gandra da Silva, por exemplo, e ministros, entre eles alguns militares, em que a hipótese de recurso ao instrumento constitucional do estado de emergencia foi descartado.
Mas, seja por distração ou outra razão, ficou registrado no relatório imaginário da PF que “não havia impressões digitais de Martins” no suposto papel da minuta nunca apresentado. Era preciso, portanto, força-lo a confirmar a existência do documento pelos mesmos métodos aplicados contra Mauro Cid para cria-lo.
Assim Martins foi preso “preventivamente” e lá ficou por seis meses, 10 dias dos quais em solitária, acusado de ter viajado para os Estados Unidos com Jair Bolsonaro em 30 de dezembro de 2022 “para evitar ser preso” pelo “golpe de estado” que ele teria desenhado no papel, e que seria tentado só 9 dias depois dessa suposta “fuga” para os EUA!!
Àparte o absurdo de se afirmar a existência de um golpe cujos beneficiários – os que iam “tomar o poder” como Zé Dirceu e Luis Roberto Barroso afirmam que tomaram com a “eleição” – não ha como desmentir que não só Filipe Martins, desde o primeiro minuto, provou indiscutivelmente, com relatórios da telefônica, do Uber, o uso de passagens aéreas dentro do Brasil, o uso de cartões de crédito, fotografias e etc., que nunca fez essa viagem como, no próprio enredo criado por Moraes consta a informação distraída de que desde 24 de outubro de 2023, mais de 2 meses antes da tal “fuga”, Moraes já havia deferido a quebra do sigilo da geolocalização dele no período entre junho de 2022 e outubro de 2023, o que significa que ele e sua polícia criminosa sabiam exatamente onde ele se encontrava em cada dia e cada hora, desde 5 meses antes até 10 meses depois da “fuga” que nunca aconteceu.
E, mesmo assim, mandaram-no para a prisão sob falsa acusação em 2024 e ignoraram solenemente todas as provas adicionais por ele apresentadas e aceitas pela PGR que, por duas vezes, mandou soltá-lo, para ver se arrancavam dele uma falsa confissão de culpa.
Filipe só foi finalmente solto depois de apenas 6 meses quando, ao fim de inúmeras idas e vindas, o governo dos Estados Unidos da América enviou oficialmente a confirmação, ao governo da Republica Federativa do Brasil, de que a ultima vez que Filipe Martins entrou nos Estados Unidos tinha sido em 18 de setembro de 2023, pelo aeroporto JFK em NY.
Não fosse por isso, considerado o padrão vigente, ele teria ficado preso até dar a Alexandre de Moraes o depoimento que ele queria ouvir.
Só que essa história não morre aí.
A ditadura não respeitou nem as fronteiras nacionais no seu afã de falsificar provas. E a que sobrou e não pode ser apagada, está agora fora do alcance dela.
Veja a sequência dos fatos:
• Filipe Martins é preso em 8 de fevereiro de 2024.
• Tão cedo quanto no mês seguinte, março de 2024, diante das provas de que não viajou apresentadas, a PGR manda soltá-lo.
• Alexandre de Moraes ignora a ordem.
• Consultado o Customs and Border Protection (CBP) em Orlando, a resposta foi que não havia registro da entrada dele no aeroporto daquela cidade.
• Passados alguns dias, o “jornalista” Guilherme Amado, então no site Metrópoles e hoje trabalhando no Isso Aí Notícia do Instituto Lula, afirma que ha registro da entrada de Martins em Orlando num site não oficial (que, mais tarde veio-se saber, mantem em seu cabeçalho a advertência de que as informações que eles publicam não podem ser usadas legalmente por serem facilmente manipuláveis).
• No mesmo dia a PF de Moraes solta um comunicado contra a libertação de Martins pedida pela PGR, citando a matéria de Guilherme como “prova”.
• Martins contrata então uma advogada nos EUA que vai ao CBP em Orlando em 11 de abril. E o órgão oficial da alfândega americana informa-a de que não ha registro da entrada de Martins em dezembro de 2023 e a ultima passagem dele pelos EUA foi em 18 de setembro de 2022, no aeroporto JFK em NY.
• A manifestação do CBP de Orlando é registrada em cartório e juntada ao processo em 12 de abril de 2024.
• Em 25 de abril um grupo da PF de Moraes embarca para os EUA a pretexto de “investigar o caso das joias de Bolsonaro”.
• Em 1º de maio a advogada americana de Martins recebe resposta à solicitação que tinha feito também à CBP de JFK-NY
• O órgão responde que não poderia enviar o registro solicitado porque, milagrosamente, surgiu o registro de uma entrada dele na mesma CBP de Orlando que dias antes negara que ele tivesse passado por lá.
Resumo:
• em 11 de abril Orlando nega entrada de Martins.
• Em 25 de abril um grupo da PF vai aos EUA
• poucos dias depois Orlando muda sua história e afirma que o registro que não existia apareceu.
• Só que – de novo os roteiristas desleixados! – embora o CBP escaneie os passaportes dos entrantes, o nome de Martins estava grafado errado no registro que surgiu do nada: Felipe Martins, com um “e”, e não Filipe Garcia Martins Pereira, como está grafado no passaporte.
• O numero do passaporte registrado estava errado.
• O tipo de visto registrado era diferente do que Filipe tinha no passaporte atual.
Conclusão:
• Os dados errados eram de um passaporte que Filipe tinha perdido no Brasil em 6 de março de 2021, fato que registrou em Boletim de Ocorrência Policial.
• Configurava-se, portanto, uma prova cabal de falsificação de uma informação destinada a constituir prova para a prisão de um homem que todos os acusadores sabiam inocente. E, pior, uma falsificação inserida num órgão oficial do governo americano (ainda sob Biden), com dados de um BO que as autoridades de Orlando nunca poderiam ter conhecido.
• A advogada de Martins vai novamente ao CBP e aponta a fraude.
• Na cara de pau, a CBP de Orlando simplesmente corrige os dados – nome, numero do passaporte e tipo de visto – e envia novamente o “registro” corrigido!!!
• Nesse meio tempo ficou esquecido que a PGR tinha requisitado, em 15 de março, os dados de Orlando pelos lentos canais oficiais do Ministério da Justiça.
• Os Estados Unidos, porém, só fornecem esse tipo de dado com autorização dos envolvidos.
• A defesa de Martins é consultada pelas fontes diplomáticas e, em 28 de maio, anui ao pedido, mas acrescenta duas exigências que foram inseridas no pedido: saber quem foi o funcionário que fez o registro e em que data ele foi feito.
• Pego na mentira, o Ministério da Justiça de Lula nunca mais enviou esse pedido aos EUA.
• A defesa de Martins não deixa barato: abre um inquérito oficial requisitando que o CBP de Orlando lhe enviasse os dados.
• Em 5 de junho, Orlando finalmente responde … que todos os dados foram excluídos dos seus registros!
• O DHS (Departamento de Segurança Interna) do governo dos Estados Unidos envia então o documento oficial final com a verdade: Filipe Martins nunca entrou pela Flórida em dezembro de 2022; a ultima vez foi em setembro, por NY.
• A PGR, então, emite nova ordem de soltura, que Alexandre de Moraes é obrigado a engolir.
• Em 10 de agosto, Filipe Martins é solto, mas sob a ordem de não dar entrevistas ou ser preso de novo!
• A advogada de Martins entra, então, com lei de acesso à informação nos EUA pedindo acesso a todos os dados.
O prazo para entrega dessas informações foi vencido em mais de 3xs o tempo máximo permitido pela lei americana e nunca foi cumprido.
• A defesa de Martins entra com dois processos contra o governo dos EUA pedindo investigação completa: porque não entregaram os documentos; quando os dados foram inseridos e quando foram des-inseridos dos registros de Orlando, e por quem.
• Orlando envia relatório confirmando que o registro foi, sim, inserido e apagado, mas coloca uma tarja nas datas e no nome do funcionário envolvido, e propõem “uma solução administrativa”.
• A defesa de Martins não aceita.
• O governo Trump toma posse no momento em que corre uma “investigação sob sigilo” nos EUA.
Se depois de tudo isso não for preso o acusador e soltos os acusados, é porque o Brasil inteiro já está preso, e por um bando de falsários globalmente desmascarados.

People usually miss posts from slow relays. And relays are busy/offline all the time. So, I would add a second fast one.
Overtime I don't think a relay will ever be fast and store forever at the same time. They are competing architectural designs from the relay.

Your Nostr reach is directly proportional to how much you invest on your Outbox relays.
Make sure your Public Outbox/Home relays are fast. If you are using a relay that takes its time to update its cache and your post takes a couple minutes to show up, most people will not see it. They have moved on to more recent posts. They will need to scroll back in time to find your post.

We need to make sharded nsecs the default for Nostr.
Amethyst partially signs with its share of the nsec and sends to Amber. Amber can only finish the signature or reject. Amber should not be able to reassemble the nsec from any event from Amethyst (or any other app).
Now repeat this for every single Nostr app.
No single app has the full nsec. The only way to "leak" an nsec is to break into the code of both apps at the same time.
Frost does that. But for singing only.
We also need sharded encryption and decryption schemes.

yeah its not that low level. GameActivity has an internal buffer it builds up that tracks what has been typed so far, what is highlighted, etc. so GameActivity is buggy

because there is a lot of patriotic Americans working in government specifically the department of defense and they finally realized they were puppets of the central bankers causing war and destruction all over the world in the pretense of freedom.

I don't see a problem problem with sending requests with a large number of pubkeys to the big relays if the people are on those big relays, as long as you're fetching the other pubkeys from the other small relays they publish to.
