1. C omzet in Bitcoin; of
2. betaald wordt in Bitcoin en alleen B omzet in fiat (minus wat je in Bitcoin kon betalen)

On Wednesday, Senate GOP, who were outraged about Chokepoint 2.0 and vowed to stop debanking, voted to get rid of a CFPB rule that stops debanking in payments apps like PayPal, Venmo and Zelle.
Chokepoint 2.0 had the potential to change the financial system for the better – to reform AML, CFT, and the Bank Secrecy Act, which are the *actual* causes of debanking.
Instead, "a certain cadre of self-serving, feckless narcissist" chose to design an orchestrated disinformation campaign against the only financial agency fighting for consumers, that – purely coincidentally – would have fined their projects by the millions.
Backed by Thiel minions and a16z talking heads, Chokepoint 2.0 invents an alternate reality in which big tech is the victim that somehow always wins.

I generally don't both evangelizing Bitcoin with merchants. Every human on the planet knows it exists and makes a conscious choice to not use it, even by inaction. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink.
However, whenever I'm stuck in one of those loops where I have to email both the merchant and the creditcard company to get their shit together, based on useless error messages along the lines of "computer says no", I do judge people.
Quietly.

I actually hate mobile apps. Do you want to be cucked by Apple or cucked by Google? Or if you prefer, you can try React Native and by cucked by both Apple and Google at the same time. It feels like being stuck in the crossfire of two evil corporations. It's the app store industrial complex. Because they control the distribution platform, so they can bully you into conforming to their arbitrary demands.
Computers were built by hackers, and Free Software fought against its control for decades. Now to many people, smartphones are the ONLY computers, which were first built as TOYS. Now we're still working backwards to having freedom on them.

This system gets dumber by the paragraph...
> The DNS injection subsystem is bidirectional: it responds to queries in both directions, whether they are leaving China or entering it. This feature is convenient for analysis: it is easier to send packets into China from the outside, than to acquire and maintain a network vantage point inside the country. By sending DNS queries to a non-live IP address in China, we can be sure that any responses received are from a middlebox injector, not the end host.

The injected response is a false answer to the query, containing an incorrect, useless IP address.

Counterproposal: flight training in school. So that you learn all the basics like how to fasten your seatbelt and how to stow your carry-on and then a refresher annually. Because I'd take 20 people with just a hard case than 3 with aldi bags full of shit that fall out.

Exactly. At the very least hard shell people should board last.

These things never fit, so people start fumbling around for several minutes and then they need to go further to the back of the plane to find a free spot. And they often have to go in landscape mode and can't be turned on their side either. So one such suitcase takes the overhead bin space of two or three large backpacks.
It's less of a problem in the old 747 planes with plenty overhead space.

The worst is when I'm told I have to check my small bag at the gate because the plane loaded up with hardshell carryons before me.

How do they make onboarding take twice as long?

New rule: if you have a hard shell suitcase, you need to check it in. The entire point of these annoying things is that they can survive the airplane hold and ground crew tosses.
As hand luggage they are ridiculously space inefficient and make boarding take twice as long as needed. Just don't do it.

I only saw a few minutes and those seemed less worrying than the headlines suggested. He kept his cool, but wasn't able to get the situation back on track.
His English isn't that good, and the acoustics on stage weren't ideal. So he may not have understood everything that was being said, which went all of the place.
Disclaimer: I think Vance is a douchebag worth his weight in shit. Which he is also full of, since he just openly criticized EU "domestic" politics and then gets all sad when Zelensky says something about the US.

What's your opinion on the Oval Office press conference with #Zelenskyy today?
What a bloodbath! Did they set him up to get into that kind of a brawl? Zelenskyy looked like an actor playing a role poorly in which he had to keep provoking a reaction by Trump/Vance.
And what was that intermezzo regarding his lack of a suite? That's where he really lost track, realizing he was picking a fight with a reporter over cheap or expensive suits 😂
It felt like a show to explain to the world why the US is pulling out of Ukraine now.
