I'm not sure if I'd go that far. It's incredibly dangerous, loud, and you end up covered in train dirt, which is a special kind of black greasy dust that gets inside your ears, nose, everything.
That being said. I have never felt more free in my life. I traveled 700 miles for free and it was completely illegal.
Many more details to share; such as the different train cars and two attempts to board a moving freight (one successful, one unsuccessful).
I'd be down to do a podcast rip about it, but typing it all out would take me over an hour.

also, yes, the response that #realy sends is CLOSED not OK,false,"auth-required:...." - and, it does fulfill the request FIRST before it sends that message back, with the sensitive event kinds ignored for what it does return, so there is something wrong with the client logic, it's not my fault and their stupidity is the whole reason why nobody uses nostr messages
come to think of it, another reason is that i'm pretty sure almost no relays properly implement delete so you can't delete your DMs either, and they mealy mouth waffle about "it's out, it's out" yeah but the relay should not either refuse to delete it nor allow it to be reinstated when the author sends a delete event
it's just not ok to be pretending that they are just not doing it because of lowest common denominator malicious behaviour of others
that's not how honor works, guys, and the fact you don't understand that makes you very much suspect for being trusted with other people's data, and certainly nobody should be running your software if they actually have a fibre of ethics in their body

Early 2018 I learned about paper wallets. Loaded $100 onto one and "put it away." Thought I'd lost it in the move a few years ago but found it yesterday and promptly swept it into cold storage.
I remember thinking how embarrassingly small 0.019 btc was at the time. I think it cost almost $3 in tx fees to move it from Coinbase to paper.
I hear that generally, paper wallets aren't a good way to store your sats but having them off the exchange and not in a hot wallet kept them safe during my shitcoiner phase.

I don't pretend to know a whole lot about bitcoin nor do I go around telling people about it. Not really my job. I'm just a participant.
What I know is I first began buying when it was 3 digits and still buying now that it's 5-6 digits.
I accepted my first bitcoin sale in 2021, again in 2024. I paid bonuses in bitcoin in 2024 and will continue to. I also now pay my accountant in bitcoin because he asked for it.
That is as far as my experience goes.
