You can run a full Linux in isolatin from your Android system. You could have multiple work machines saved on your phone, for instance.
Or just run servers, like a strfry relay, directly on the VM, without having to recompile for Android.

I don’t even think this is a touch sensitivity thing. I can’t press it fast enough to only register a single key. It looks like android-activity has some vendored gamesdk glue code it copied over that has bugs. Going to try to get the latest upstream of that at least. If all else fails I will have to do some super hacky thing that detects this and fixes it proactively. Ew

If individual choice is the base reality of meaning, it has terrible implications. If we are purely self-actualizing, transsexuality, suicide, and self-harm are Good in an ultimate sense. There's also no basis on which you can establish harm. If I am the center of my universe, I can't believe in an Other. It requires a transcendent reality to bind individuals together.
One book I think about constantly is Human Forever by James Poulos, which traces the trajectory of atomistic (progressive) individualism to the ironic outcome of erasure of individuality. It's a sobering logic, and one which anarchists are particularly vulnerable to. This is something I'll be arguing specifically against in the book.

If this can be solved on the rust layer, it will be better/faster. The second option is to hack a touch sensitivity solution on notedeck itself. The Google dev path is something you can start for "future generations" but don't expect anything back in time to matter.
Case in point, there was a bug on AOSP's default keyboard that I had to reverse engineer the keyboard to understand how character pixel rounding was working differently than other keyboards. The "bug" (unspecified API) has been there for over 10 years now.

Yeah, since the migration to Compose, most of Android is not developed based on Activities anymore. Activities are still required, but only because of backward compatibility. If it were for the Compose/Kotlin team, which is now the default way of doing Android, Activities would have been long gone (like... 6 years ago).

Radio waves are just light you can't see because you have no sensor in your body for light waves that size. They are too low frequency for you to sense. Size and frequency are connected because light always moves at the speed of light. That means you can always know wave size from frequency and frequency from wave size. Among people in the industry and hobby of RF people often talk about a transmission by wavelength instead of frequency.
WiFi is a 5 inch long wave which can be blocked by water. The things you encase your brain in like skin and bone are mostly water and they block signals very well. Nothing with a wave shorter than about 2" is useful for wireless communications.
Higher than wireless communications frequencies we have heat, also light but you use a different sensor on your body so you call it a different thing.
Above that frequency is visible light, you have eyeballs for this one.
Above that frequency is ultraviolet, then you finally get to waves small enough to interact with your cells internals. Now you have risk. Skin cancer here and higher frequencies are where you see radioactive things that cause other issues.
Sound is lower frequency than most radio but sound is a pressure wave not a frequency of light.
Because RF is closest in size to heat, at really high exposure levels you can get burnt. It is the same kind of burn as touching the stove. No pocket electronics have enough power to do that.
TLDR, do you feel heat coming off the antenna? Not the battery, the antenna. If no, you are fine. The only real risk is that your balls are very sensitive to heat. If you work around higher power gear like working on radio towers a lot it is possible to be temporarily sterilized.

I'd say it's even more meaningful because it's self-sovereign. not unlike money (or any tech) being better when it doesn't depend on some central authority. open protocols! in tech, money, and meaning.

Lesson learned:
Don’t leave laptop open while cooking in the kitchen as grease particulates accumulate on the screen.
But in figuring out how to clean it, these Zeiss lens cleaning wipes that I use for my photo lenses works great with a glasses cleaning cloth. Screen looking brand new now.
