yeah its not that low level. GameActivity has an internal buffer it builds up that tracks what has been typed so far, what is highlighted, etc. so GameActivity is buggy

I don't see a problem problem with sending requests with a large number of pubkeys to the big relays if the people are on those big relays, as long as you're fetching the other pubkeys from the other small relays they publish to.

it is not always this way, but if you read the writings of Chuang Tzu, during the time he was inspired to create the system of Taoism (he's a documentary-proven person, a contemporary of Confucious, unlike Lao Tzu) he even talks about how when those in charge are evil that goodness struggles
we are in a dark age, and have been since at least the time he wrote that, probably this entire 6000 year period, about 3 of the 12 ages of the Yuga, that is said to end soon, specifically in june this year marks a transition point
anyway, do we really want extravagance and luxury and power? nope, just would like peace please, and bad guys to actually get put in their place, which is small and uncomfortable and dark

If you are an #atheist who has the option I think you have a duty to be open about your atheism if you can. By keeping quiet you help to make sure that the only image of an atheist that people have is the strawman caricatures their preacher tells them about.
Show them that regular people in their community are atheists. Show them that we just want to buy a bunch of bitcoin and live on a permaculture farm far from the reaches of any government and just like any other sane person.

Nostr can only do this because of signed data. The apps themselves don’t need trust each other. They know ever new event was approved by the user.

Some Bitcoin History...
On this day in 2013, an undiscovered discrepancy between the Bitcoin 0.7 and recently released 0.8 client versions caused an unintentional hard fork (a network split).
After a storm of discussion and organizing by developers, the community, services, and miners, a consensus on downgrading nodes to 0.7 was reached and over nearly 6 hours the dominant hash power migrated back to the 0.7 chain.
After reaching a peak of 8 blocks ahead of the other chain, the forked chain finally fell behind the 0.7 version and 24 blocks were orphaned at once from the forked chain, marking when all of the software across the entire Bitcoin ecosystem fell back into consensus.
What I'm doing today:
• I'm taking at least 24 minutes out of the day to review some bitcoin code, and/or learn at least one new thing about Bitcoin code and how it works. The more eyes and expertise we have in the ecosystem, the stronger and more resilient Bitcoin is.
Wild to have lived through this little part of Bitcoins life.
