yeah, not me... i've doggedly been working on one main thing for almost a year now, and making it better and improving it is crucial to the other things, the other things, well, i work on this in my spare time, which i have enlarged and have been cutting a substantially smaller paycheck to do it, because it means a lot to me to achieve something of a high standard of polish, efficiency and elegance
when i get tempted to do "other" things, it's liek what i'm doing now - "ok now we are making a pubkey index to dramatically shrink the size of especially pubkey list events" haha

Yeah. Cameras don't put out 4:5 so you always have to crop first for the "ideal" format there. If you take photos for insta it's like: "oh let me get a bit more in the frame so I can crop it off later" 😅 wild. I also don't use it anymore, I think we'll replace it here on nostr.

I think I prefer the squares too but I’ve always found the aspect ratios on Instagram difficult. I rarely post there anymore but when I did I often found I needed to post a differently cropped version of an image to try to make it look better there.
