Wireless communications was first experimented with in the late 1800s with the first successful transmission and reception in the 1890s.
Since that time; every government, police, and military industrial complex weapons lab has tried non stop to weaponize wireless signals. We're talking about a global effort spanning over a century. They tried every frequency, every power level, and every antenna design.
The entire extent of "successful" weapons technology from that research is the Active Denial System or ADS. It is a 100 kW weapon that causes burns on the skin. It is commonly called a heat ray, and that is a perfect description of the effects. The heat is in the 150f and under range so it does burn skin but cannot start fires. To be effective the entire weapons system is so large it has to be vehicle mounted. There are no records of it ever being used except in demonstrations despite all the effort into its development.
Compare the ADS to your Bluetooth headphones that some people are claiming will hurt you from EMF. First you have to believe every weapons researcher missed this attack vector for 125 years. 25 of those years are after Bluetooth and wifi use for communications became popular and how they worked was public knowledge. Also every product safety team of every type including the ambulance chaser lawyers globally failed to find the negative effects in those 25 years.
On top of that, Bluetooth is roughly 1/10,000,000th the power output of the ADS. Bluetooth is not vehicle mounted, the entire thing fits on a US dime.
That is how extraordinary a claim it is that your WiFi or Bluetooth cause you harm. Someone selling you something to protect you from them has a burden of proof to provide evidence to tip that scale. No one I have seen comes even close.
Keep your sats, hell, you could keep dollars and still be better off than buying anything to protect you from WiFi, 5g or Bluetooth.

Bitcoin Strategic Reserve (and Digital Asset Stockpile)
via David Sacks on Twitter 👇🏻
Just a few minutes ago, President Trump signed an Executive Order to establish a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.
The Reserve will be capitalized with Bitcoin owned by the federal government that was forfeited as part of criminal or civil asset forfeiture proceedings. This means it will not cost taxpayers a dime.
It is estimated that the U.S. government owns about 200,000 bitcoin; however, there has never been a complete audit. The E.O. directs a full accounting of the federal government’s digital asset holdings.
The U.S. will not sell any bitcoin deposited into the Reserve. It will be kept as a store of value. The Reserve is like a digital Fort Knox for the cryptocurrency often called “digital gold.”
Premature sales of bitcoin have already cost U.S. taxpayers over $17 billion in lost value. Now the federal government will have a strategy to maximize the value of its holdings.
The Secretaries of Treasury and Commerce are authorized to develop budget-neutral strategies for acquiring additional bitcoin, provided that those strategies have no incremental costs on American taxpayers.
IN ADDITION, the Executive Order establishes a U.S. Digital Asset Stockpile, consisting of digital assets other than bitcoin forfeited in criminal or civil proceedings.
The government will not acquire additional assets for the Stockpile beyond those obtained through forfeiture proceedings.
The purpose of the Stockpile is responsible stewardship of the government’s digital assets under the Treasury Department.
PROMISES MADE, PROMISES KEPT
President Trump promised to create a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve and Digital Asset Stockpile. Those promises have been kept.
This Executive Order underscores President Trump’s commitment to making the U.S. the “crypto capital of the world.”
I want to thank the President for his leadership and vision in supporting this cutting-edge technology and for his rapid execution in supporting the digital asset industry. His administration is truly moving at “tech speed.”
I also want to thank the President’s Working Group on Digital Asset Markets — especially Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick — for their help and support in getting this done. Finally Bo Hines played a critical role as Executive Director of our Working Group.

To clear up confusion here.
This EO established 2 different things: a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, and a U.S. Digital Asset Stockpile.
The Strategic Bitcoin Reserve will contain our ~198,109 bitcoin obtained through forfeiture proceedings, conduct a formal audit, and not sell any of it.
The U.S. Digital Asset Stockpile will contain all other non-BTC assets obtained through forfeiture proceedings.
This is not news—it has been heavily speculated by people like @matthew_pines at the @btcpolicyorg that this was the path of least resistance to create a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve: reclassifying what we already own under a formal ownership structure.
But here's the key.
The Secretaries of Treasury and Commerce will develop budget-neutral strategies for acquiring more bitcoin for the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.
The U.S. will not develop strategies to acquire more non-bitcoin assets for the Digital Asset stockpile.
This is phenomenal. An acquisition strategy for bitcoin, not "crypto", will be developed by the US government.
This opens the door for the Treasury & Commerce Departments to use Pines' suggestion: use our ~$40bn surplus sitting in the Exchange Stabilization Fund to acquire more bitcoin.
This will likely be one of many funding mechanisms explored and established for the SBR by the government in the coming weeks and months.
What a time to be alive.

Let's level set here.
1. Trump has been better for #Bitcoin than Kamala would have ever been.
2. A #Bitcoin Reserve is now it's own thing, separate from the Strategic Shitpile. Hopefully the Senate can make these it permanent within this term and we see the US move to grow the reserve.
3. Texas might be stacking sats soon, with more states to follow. States don't have a money printer and have better incentives to save than the Feds do. I'd rather see Federalism made wealthy while "Democracy" is gradually empovered.
4. We could see better #Bitcoin tax treatment, and who knows, maybe the abolition of the IRS.
4. Attitudes toward #Bitcoin amongst governments and corporations all over the world are experiencing a sea change. Bottom up is being met by top down. Adoption at every layer, from every direction. Soon it will be embarrassing not to "get it".
We are really winning.

100% agreed. NIP-04 should not be a thing anymore. NIP-17 should be the standard for all DMs on Nostr until we have something better.

You probably aren't impressed by this, but I just convinced my 74 year old stepmother to install damus.

I've seen the path to the ESF before, more doubtful about the other two but this is a big deal
