He discusses this in his book, which I highly recommend.
Part of his philosophy, paraphrased, was that it's the contender’s job to beat the champion decisively. The champion shouldn’t be the one taking unnecessary risks to finish the opponent.
He was definitely more aggressive before becoming champion at 170 lbs, consistently finishing opponents on his way up. Even when he moved up to 185 lbs, he finished the fight as the contender and became middleweight champion.
Any time I see him going on a long form podcast, I tuned in to listen. He's such an awesome martial artist.

Have you messed with any other gui toolkits outside why. I’m looking at Iced / libcosmic, but I really like the way GPUI looks and feels in Linux in Zed.
I’ll be too busy for probably 3 months but I’d like to look at building a combo knowledgebase and task/todo platform similar to logseq powered my nostr using default a local relay that can be switched to other relays to do collaboration/networking.

now he is a lot more healthy due to the many things i have done to try and heal him, he now is starting to get playful at times
but he freaks out when playtime starts, and runs away, like it's actually a cat fight and he doesn't want it
so i have a cat, that was a sole ktiten, probably, probably also kicked out of mother's nest-hole young, (i think i know who his mother is tho, she mooches around here) who never had a peer kitten to play with, and never learned how to play
it's quite peculiar, i'm trying to gently ease him into it, it's gonna be slow but i'm sure that he will enjoy it when he figures out he doesn't have to worry about me beating him up

What I like about this is that it's a good Kind 01 default "trendlist", that each npub can adjust to show their favorite stuff. Add the (read-only) algo.utxo.one relay to your relay list and then adjust the settings by logging into the associated https://algo.utxo.one website.
Anyone can then see what is trending, without client-vendor lock-in, and without being stuck seeing nothing but the same Big 10 npubs over and over, like the list has a stutter.

The reason money movement, at least in my view, is critical to increasing usage is because people are too accustomed to having everything paid for on a rolling basis and being passive purchasers. Your last statement on payments is a hopeful outlook, but won't play out because most people don't and just won't care about "being a product" or supporting a hobbyist. There has to be an intrinsic and seamless shift towards changing that for a value and utility-based internet, yes, which comes from getting people to be directly involved in the transferring of money.
I do see infrastructure as a great way to get more people onboarded as well; I actually think Nostr should be primarily "marketed" towards product builders as a cheaper and more resilient architecture, rather than to media consumers as an uncensorable network. That also ties in with you utility and value driven point, with more builders bringing more utility and unlocking more value.

I reached out to some of the people I know in Diamond Sangha (SK) and it seems like it is dying. They can't attract any youth. They are no longer doing sesshin by the looks of it.
Plum Village has been totally captured by reified postmodernism (wokeism) so I don't bother any more with it.
I have a young friend (he's 26) up here who I have been working with for a few years to set him up well with his Zazen. He has done very well so far and that gives me hope.
according to estimates that i have seen, Buddhism is set to go from 3 percent worldwide to 1 percent, sadly.
