There's more than enough money in the system, to get prices to rise, but people are unwilling to spend it. So, they are trying to figure out how to make spending it more attractive than saving it.

Deflation is a monetary phenomenon.
If the money supply is static or shrinking (which is the case), then prices can only rise _overall_ by increasing monetary velocity. Usually by getting people to spend their savings.

I think Alexandria or GC Alexandria is good. It makes it clear what the project is aspiring to be. With so many projects on the Internet it's difficult to have a unique name. Branding can be achieved with logos and theming too.

We're actually going to be running the new and old DBs in parallel, for 3 months, so an ORM would also be useful for the strangler or whatever we end up using.
I'm liking this more and more. A universal data model of core classes could be useful in all sorts of ways, while still being highly readable and easy to edit.

I like your post, but can't agree on the advice against ledger or trezor. They are still hardware wallets, expecting a newcomer to properly setup a hot wallet is just crazy. Even if ledger sucks, it still can be used directly with electrum wallet (bypassing their garbage Ledger live software). I would advice ANY hardware wallet is better for a newcomer than a hot wallet.

We have a separate set of regression tests on the test DB.
This is to create events to test changes we make to the structure of that DB, or to test interfaces with the DB, or to check events that failed on prod (from support), or for the devs to use in their unit tests, or to create events that we can present to the customer during the requirements phase (they can then check, if our event could be processed on their side).
We've been using an Excel Sheet and a complicated bash script and manual editing of the resulting events before, but that is really sluggish and slow and the test data isn't very realistic.
The entire SuT is being redesigned and rewritten and migrated, so this is my chance to scrap the whole test system and start over more "smartly" because they're giving us a corporate ChatGPT account, with the rewrite.
Seems like an ORM+AI is the simplest implementation that could work, for all of those use cases.
