I wish all clients had better list management, letting me categorize my follows. There are people I still want to follow, who I don't necessarily trust. Public and private options would be nice too
Then we could use the "followed" list instead as a "trusted npubs" list of people whom I know IRL, or have had extensive interactions with. That could actually mean something, and be useful for WoT.

yeah, if electric resistive heating is economic for your purposes then you might as well solo mine because the pool yield will be not that huge, it really depends on your capital basis and how much you make yout of your enterprise whether you can absorb the ongoing power cost
personally, i think that even in the heating use case pool is more practical, but if you make enough profit above that input cost to absorb an ongoing loss for that which is just a bit above an electrical resistive element, then, why not mine solo
so, that's gonna be part of what drives this, and yes, it makes the network more decentralized, though it's not gonna be a huge amount of boost to that... but some is better than none
if i was running a bigger farm, like a few thousand watts of gear, and the heat was going to uses that the input cost was practical, then i'd farm mine solo
i can think of many production processes that benefit from the nasty hot dry of the air coming off a heatsink, many agricultural processes especially

One thing I am noticing, though. Now that "favorite relays" load in the right-side panel, you cannot select to send a note to only that relay. You first need to add it to a relay set, so it will show up in the left-side panel, and then Jumble will display the toggle to send your note only to that relay.

Bots / farm accounts would have a lot less impact in WoT if certain well-followed accounts didn’t follow them back.
Not gonna name and shame- go through my GM spam replies and click a few profiles if you wanna see for yourself.

even if gravy, the sense of 'work' is indeed there 'settled-at-home'... in my exp at least, working at the workshop it also felt alike lil miner was working at home, doing its part. the fridge don't gives that same kind of hopium. the act might be more alike firing a candle —within the latin-american folk of altars places—, that is, more of a charm than actually being a pro miner.
now then, in terms o actual chances of decentralizing blocks discovery, it could be a matter of when rather than if to happen? my naive take tells it matters the number of players just as much as how much power each of them can offer... 'a miner in each garage'
