everything is working mostly
- users can see messages in mailing lists
- can subscribe to multiple mailing lists
- can answer to threads from an email client
- threads support simple markdown, images and non english characters
what's not working right now:
- creating new threads from an email client (will finish this today)
- adding attachments from an email client and linking them to the reply in nostr (I will not be finishing this before the hackathon ends)
(exmple shown from thunderbird, works on any email client that supports IMAP and SMTP)

yeah, it makes sense, the modification changes your cells but doesn't touch the actual cause, which i am quite sure now is some kind of bioweapon blood parasite, the virus is just a trigger
the key effect that the infection had was essentially an extreme anaphylactic reaction, it was similar to the reaction i get from consuming seed protein for way too long, especially wheat, but zein from corn also is bad
the disease is an allergic reaction, so removing the sources of foreign proteins is the main cure, and these parasites i am hypothesising about are basically foreign proteins that trip the immune system into hyper-reaction

He was speaking about the issues with working on Nostr. Essentially saying that our greatest power is also our greatest weakness.
It's hard to work on a decentralized protocol because everyone, including developers, can do whatever they want. That makes interoperability hard and devs need to essentially defensively code in their apps to stop others from accidently breaking their own apps.

No reason iOS clients couldn't do this. There are nips outlining the functionality. It's part of Nostr, just underdeveloped. Influencer types would never push it through, they like big follower numbers, so it stays on the backburner.

All the pieces already exist. Nostrudel let's you make lists and assign users to them. Amethyst can view user lists, but has no management capabilities for adding users. Etc. The follow list would remain, but would instead be used as the trusted npubs list. It's all there already.
