I’m not just numb to price action; I’m starting to resent it.
If I want to know the price, I’ll check the chart.
The data is clear, the metrics are precise, and I can make my own informed judgment about what’s happening and what might come next.
But if I look for Bitcoin news, I find something entirely different; less analysis, more emotion, still price.
More often than not, the narratives spun around Bitcoin aren’t just misleading; they’re flat out wrong.
The loudest voices aren’t the wisest, just the most sensational.
Price talk gets engagement, but at what cost?
High price predictions get the most attention, but that doesn’t make them any more accurate.
If anything, they distort reality, fueling greed, false hope, and short-term thinking.
I’d rather share my honest thoughts with a few who truly understand than exploit the many who crave comforting illusions.
Bitcoin isn’t a legacy asset; it’s a legacy in the making.
That means the actions of Bitcoiners today matter more than they ever will in the future.
Unlike traditional assets that inherit their prestige, Bitcoin’s reputation is still being written.
We are its stewards, its builders, its conscience, because of that, we are held to the highest standard.

I find it better to have two or more imperfect systems for imperfect, short sighted, short attention spanned, and forgetful people to compare and remind themselves which one works best for them.
Same reason why Twitter and that other blue thing must continue to exist for Nostr to remain relevant.

I lost access to my first Nostr account.
It is a bummer, but the issue for me was never losing the account, it was getting censored by centralised entities.
What I would say is, those centralised entities ( Specifically Twitter ) do have more reach - agreed - but more than that is is where you can really challenge ideas.
This place is like preaching to the converted. Nothing wrong with that, but the differences extend beyond whether you own your identity on a given platform or not. ( IMO )

Does X punish content creators who use Nostr?

单人电影的黄金年代没了
想当年，漫威的单人电影多带劲儿。《钢铁侠》（2008）靠小罗伯特·唐尼的骚气和救赎故事圈粉无数；《美国队长：第一复仇者》（2011）用史蒂夫·罗杰斯的硬汉味儿撑起全场；哪怕是偏门的《无敌浩克》（2008），也有那种孤独怪兽的粗粝感。那时候，一部电影就是一个完整故事，看完爽完事儿，不用管别的。现在呢？这些英雄全被塞进“复仇者联盟”的大锅饭里，单人电影都得为团队剧情服务，成了铺垫机器。
联盟+多元宇宙：剧情崩了还累人
《复仇者联盟》（2012）一火，漫威尝到甜头，开始狂组团。每部电影不再是独立故事，而是“宇宙”的一部分，彩蛋和伏笔满天飞。到《复联3》《复联4》，场面是大，可谁还记得为啥打？英雄多得像超市大甩卖，钢铁侠、美队、雷神挤一块儿，没一个有深度。再后来，多元宇宙来了，《蜘蛛侠：英雄无归》《奇异博士2》满屏时间线乱窜，角色变体跑来跑去，想搞懂谁是谁得带笔记本记。这哪是娱乐，分明是脑力劳动！
《美丽新世界》更狠。网友爆料，这片子讲新美队山姆·威尔逊（安东尼·麦凯饰）对付罗斯将军（从《无敌浩克》回来的反派）和什么天神组阴谋，光靠老《美队》三部曲不够，你得补一堆前置：
• 《无敌浩克》：罗斯将军的背景，得知道他跟绿巨人的恩怨。
• 《永恒族》：天神组的设定，宇宙级威胁的来龙去脉。
• 《猎鹰与冬兵》剧集：山姆接盾的过程，没看你就不知道他咋成美队。

1 商业算计
漫威发现“共享宇宙”能锁观众，你不看全套就跟不上趟儿。每部片子都甩一堆钩子，逼你补前传追后篇，像个无底洞。《美丽新世界》这路子，就是拿“功课”绑架粉丝，赚得盆满钵满，可剧情越来越像流水线垃圾。
2 创意破产
单人电影还能挖内心戏，钢铁侠讲自我救赎，美队2讲信任危机。联盟片和多元宇宙全是打打打，角色多得没空塑造，美队从硬汉变螺丝钉，浩克从狂兽变搞笑绿胖子，逻辑还崩得稀碎。多元宇宙更是扯淡，蜘蛛侠变体满屏跑，谁在乎哪个是真的？
3 观众累了
MCU从2008到2025，17年40多部电影、10几部剧，平均每年3-4部才能跟上。X上有人算，第四、五阶段（2021-2025）得补20多部作品，谁有这精力？想看个《美丽新世界》还得当学霸，普通观众早跑了。
操蛋吐槽
这趋势真是自掘坟墓。以前看超英电影是放松，现在像高考复习，得列时间表做笔记。漫威再这么玩，铁粉都得叛逃。花钱买票还得先做作业，这他妈是电影还是折磨？《美丽新世界》要是真这么拍，我宁愿重刷《钢铁侠1》，起码不用带脑子还能爽一把。多元宇宙这破玩意儿，早晚把MCU玩死，赶紧滚回单人电影吧，别再逼观众当苦力了！

I'm okay with someone saying that they use a certain platform. Most people didn't shill HTTP to average people, they shilled Netscape. Platforms will be more known than NOSTR. This is okay! Technology should fade into the background.

Correct. And in addition to this, clients should consider supporting a large pool of known relays and randomly assign them to new users. Then, allow users to go in and make changes, adding and removing relays at their leisure and using WoT indicators to help them navigate relays.

the pubkey exposed in a bolt11 lightning invoice never receives any money (it is only used for communication, specifically for signing your invoice and some messages on the p2p communication network) and does not expose your balance
also, anyone who scans your lightning invoice and sends money to you does not learn what address received the money (or rather, they don't learn what address *would* receive the money if the transaction went to chain). They only learn your node's *communication* pubkey, they don't learn where the money actually went per the blockchain's consensus rules.
by contrast, in monero, anyone who scans your monero public address and sends money to you learns exactly what address received the money and they can provably map that "stealth" address to your public address. This is part of how many monero users get caught, e.g. it is how chainalysis learned what transactions to investigate in the following video where they show how they caught a Columbian drug lord:

NIP-26 would have been fantastic but essentially no clients wanted to support it. So minimal impact with minimal changes are they easy to go, IMO, if possible.
