I bought this giant inflatable car suit last month and I’ve taken it to a few parties. It’s been really fascinating to see how people interact with it. Lots of people laugh and want to give it hugs. Some punch it. Women tend to poke it in the butt. Some want to dance with it. One guy got on the ground and crawled between its legs.
I think it’s the weird way a stuffed animal looking cat becomes big and real. It’s 2.6 meters (8ft) tall. Lots of people thought it was robot or “AI” and didn’t believe that I as a person was inside.

If I would have borrowed $10,000 and bought bitcoin at 7¢, I’d be a billionaire. But I was damn near broke (and in fact was broke a year later)…every monumentally stupid move I’ve done with bitcoin has been related to a fear of debt and miscalculation of risk.

Basically as you try to strike these deals you end up back at something that looks like equity or debt eventually, with the same issues but more complex to lock in because you’re trying to do a standalone agreement with no established norms. Never mind the fleeting nature of zaps, and the impossibility of measuring the impacts of specific actions in a decentralized system.
Not saying we can’t innovate with how we get funding but there’s a reason things are done the way they’re done in the startup world. It’s not all evil. Not exactly sure how your products will leverage Nostr’s distributed identity, global reputation, web of trust social features, etc to offer value that users will pay for at scale but there are DEFINITELY ways to do this without selling your soul. I’m curious what your other rev models are- I’ll gladly share ours if you want.
The killer FOMO thing for investors is access to a user base that every single Nostr app grows collectively (one viral app/client brings users in for ALL apps/clients). If there isn’t a way to make this investable then we’re all fucked anyway… sorry to say I don’t think charity has the horsepower to compete against the behemoths.

I'm not sure if this is "NIP" material, since it is not on the protocol layer, but one level above. And yet, i'd like for people to comment on it so we can improve this draft and make it into a viable product. I'm working on a proof of concept, but not sure when it will be ready since i can only work on it in my spare time.

Go outside. Like 5 hours per day in the stroller. The movements will help alleviate the gas and the fresh air does the rest. They just sleep a lot better. And they're young, so don't worry about them "oversleeping" during the day. The air bomb makes them more tired at night. Avoid syrups and stuff. I have 3 of them fuckers and a very recent addition, so I'm in the middle of the same grind. Stay strong 💪
