现代民主政治是什么？
它是更好的人为了过上更好的生活而创造的更好制度。
当人类中的一部分人幸运地成为了“更好的自己”，在经济层面找到了支撑，成功组建了社区，它便应运而生，让社会完成了从文化、经济到政治的飞跃。
它本来就是需要由“更好的人”维护的，它本来就不是牲人、顺民能驾驭的。
没有足够数量的具备公民意识的人，民主政治就无法顺畅运行，因此，如果一个民主国家的下一代人没能得到足以培养出合格公民的教育，如果他们对民主与法治的运行原理一无所知或仅是一知半解，如果他们从小就习惯了服从，习惯了被阉割掉独立思考能力，他们就会无力承担维护民主制度的公民责任。
而这样的公民只能在家庭里成长起来。
所以更好的家庭，就是更好或者说品质更高，对维护者的技术能力有更高要求的更精密政治体制存续的社会基础。
告诉人们怎样建构这种家庭，怎样经营和维护这种高品质家庭关系的文化观念，则是繁荣文化的核心要件。
只有这样的家庭才能培养出遇到异议时第一反应是沟通而不是暴力压服的孩子，才能培养出以沟通以合作为本能的现代政治生物。
这样的家庭是怎样的家庭？
是在一家人之间不会使用暴力的家庭，是丈夫不殴打妻子的家庭，也是父母不会对孩子使用肢体暴力和语言暴力的家庭。
是许多简中推友听到后会立即表示怀疑，认为是天方夜谭，不可能存在的家庭。
他们会说，不打不骂孩子你要怎么教育他呢？他们会说，在家里不是东风压倒西风就是西风压倒东风，你不对女人凶一点她会蹬鼻子上脸。
但是由怨妇抚养长大，从小被打骂着长大的孩子会在有投票权的时候把票投给谁呢？在这种选民看到政治强人的时候，看到象训儿子训孙子一样训斥民众的政治强人的时候，难道会警惕，会有本能的反感吗？
不，他会崇拜。
因为孩子的天性就是依恋父母，依恋抚养他的人，依恋看起来强有力，又对他作出种种承诺的高大形象。
那些投票给政治强人的选民，支持的是他们在另一种意义上的父亲，寻求的是在他们想象力范围之内的强者的善待。
他们不会作更成熟更稳妥的选择，是因为平等的、彼此尊重的关系，在他们的想象力范围之外。
他们会不介意强权对自由的限制，因为在家庭内部他们早就把这些看成理所当然。
民主政治不是由他们这种人创建的，也无法由他们这种人维护。
这并不是因为他们不聪明、不善良。
是因为就象平等的家庭关系超出他们的想象能力一样，平等的政治关系也超出他们的理解能力。
所以繁荣文化是什么？
是告诉你如何建构出有爱的家庭关系的文化观念体系。
这种在家庭内部对爱的追求，对爱的强调，是现代文明得以创生的根源，也是从属于现代文明的，已经更新过的繁荣文化有别于各种传统文化的关键。
在儒家文化里，对家庭关系强调的是顺从，是长幼有序，尊卑有别，是每个人都扮演好自己的角色，一切就会井井有条。
在其他族群的传统文化里呢？
不必去做跨文化的研究，你看看他们对打老婆、打孩子是什么态度就一目了然。
从打老婆、打孩子的家庭里不是不会走出战士，许多时候，那些甘愿为自由而战，肯冲锋陷阵流血牺牲的勇者正是从这种家庭里成长起来的。
但从打老婆、打孩子的家庭里，通常走不出成熟的现代政治家，走不出善于沟通合作，善于换位思考，善于协调各方利益关系，精通妥协的艺术的人才。
在我看来，繁荣文化是需要在这个方面取得强势的甚至唯一性的地位的。
作为经济、文化、政治铁三角中不可或缺的一环，繁荣文化，或者说，建构有爱的、非暴力的、彼此尊重的家庭关系的文化观念，需要在每一个希望实行民主法治现代政治制度的社会里占统治地位。
拒绝有毒的家庭观念，拒绝向孩子传递有毒的家庭观念，则应该成为繁荣社会在观念战争中坚守的第一道防线。
这并不难。
尤其是在各移民社区。
绝大多数族群在其本身的传统家庭观念里都早就渗入了温情成分，只是，在旧时代，亲情之爱，亲人之间的温情，被当成了一层包裹实际上的互相吸血有毒关系的糖衣，不愿从地位较卑一方身上获利者甚至会遭到嘲笑，太尊重妻子的男人会被说成“恋爱脑”，太爱孩子的父母会被人规劝“别宠坏孩子”。
而不懂爱的人在付出爱的时候常常也做得笨拙，例如曾深受饥饿所苦的父母，会把孩子喂到超重，会勉强吃不下的孩子塞下过多食物；例如曾深以自己父母的严厉管教为苦的家长会对孩子百依百顺，满足孩子的“全能自恋”，实际是借此满足曾经的自己，但却扭曲了孩子对真实世界游戏规则的认识。
我们需要意识到，以新时代的标准来看，旧时代的家庭观念是“有毒的”。而且如果不进行干预，任事态发展，受毒害的会是无辜的孩子和这些孩子的孩子。
而促成文化更新，完成文化更新，是新时代对旧时代的治疗。
在移民社区促成文化更新，把关于“如何建构有爱的家庭”的知识和技能有意识地传播开去，传授给有需要的人们，是功德无量的事。
而告诉妇孺们“如何脱离有毒的家庭关系”，则是欧美列国应该强力推动的，对移民社区最重要的救济手段。

Why are people not more concerned about the UK's recent action towards Apple? The UK asked Apple to grant it access to all data of every global iPhone user around the world. That's huge.
Yes, that means you if you use an Apple phone and you use the iCloud. No matter where you are, The UK wants access to everything about your personal life.
And it gets worse. This isn't just for the UK. The UK has a treaty with other countries like Australia and Canada and the US and are able to instantaneously exchange information amongst themselves.
What the hell is wrong with us that a simple bitcoin price dip suddenly takes all of our attention while these kinds of despicable, disgusting, and insane things are happening around us???
This is like granting a government full access to your house without a warrant or even the courtesy of knocking or even the courtesy of letting you know they're coming in. They can instantaneously access all of your life without you even knowing it. What the hell???
And you can bet this isn't limited to Apple and includes Google Android as well. At least Apple had the decency to leak the request.
So what the hell people, let's stop talking about stupid things like the price of Bitcoin, and let's start really bringing up these kind of topics in our circles.

Fundamentally, quantum mechanics has been a language problem since discovery. We haven’t had a “language” to actually understand and communicate it until bitcoin; which describes the relationship of energy, information and time. Use Bitcoin as the lens to think through.
What physicists call a qubit has an identical nature to UTXO. In both, energy is fundamental.
Superposition: UTXOs are in a constant state of spendability (0 or 1) and their state is unknown until blocks are mined; only probabilistic.
Entanglement: A single UTXO can be sent to infinite addresses, split innumerable ways, can interact with any other UTXO and can interact with UTXOs from different times. Remember, all UTXOs exist in the past except the ones in the present block.
Measurement: Mining is the measurement of hashes per valid nonce and the measurement collapses the indeterminate block config into a single deterministic verifiable state. This also sets the direction in quantum measurement (which UTXOs become spent and which remain unspent)
UTXOs persist indefinitely through time; it appears Satoshi solved decoherence 16 years ago. Again, it’s a language and expectation problem. We are told QM is too complex to for us understand, trust the physicists.
The ledger is the “timespace” (history from Genesis) and the current block is the “spacetime” or the present.
Given this context, is it possible a UTXO is a qubit? What properties is a UTXO missing to be one?
What effects could centralization have on a quantum system? (Think Bitcoin, ownership, nodes, mining)
What is more important for a quantum computer to compute than perfect money and a shared equal reality with no singular observer?
