Uma jovem de 19 anos foi presa na manhã desta quinta-feira (27) em Ourinhos (SP) por tentar transportar ilegalmente um macaco-prego.
A abordagem ocorreu no km 345 da Rodovia Transbrasiliana (BR-153), quando agentes da Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF) identificaram inconsistências nos documentos apresentados pela suspeita.

A equipe da PRF abordou uma caminhonete, ocupada por uma família da capital paulista, e flagrou o animal, inicialmente identificado como um cachorro, dentro de uma caixa de transporte.
Ao perceberem que se tratava de um macaco-prego, os policiais solicitaram a documentação que, após análise, revelou indícios de falsidade.
A jovem foi presa e levada à Central de Polícia Judiciária (CPJ) de Ourinhos, onde foram registrados os crimes de uso de documentos falsos, com pena prevista de até cinco anos de reclusão, e de transporte irregular de animal silvestre, que prevê detenção de até um ano.
A Polícia Militar Ambiental foi acionada para garantir o destino adequado ao macaco, que foi encaminhado à Associação Protetora dos Animais Silvestres de Assis (Apass).

When you redeem your payment, sometimes there are some sats leftover, as converting from Cashu to Lighting requires some extra sats to be "reserved" to handle the fee and make sure the payment doesn't fail. So the overpaid fee change is just the extra sats that weren't used to pay the fee.
