Giftcards for Christmas are pretty good sometimes, but other times you're better off buying gift cards at Costco and stacking sats with the difference.
I dislike the wheel. It's just my own thing. I know I'm wierd.
I don't shop much aside from groceries and I don't understand the value of the $10 membership yet. I also think the debit rewards are more complex than coupon clipping so I stopped using it.
The 2% cash back is better than any of my other credit cards though. That's huge. I can deal with the extra friction for 2% rewards. I hope it's Visa so I can shop at Costco.

No. I never even heard of that one. I bought 1 Ethereum on Coinbase for $11.00 and Litecoin for $33 for no other reason than the fact thay they were listed on Coinbaase.

I think it is too, especially from the perspective of people who don't spend all day talking about bitcoin. It's a stamp of approval. Most Americans understand stamps of approval, but not digital signatures.

How would you describe this situation? I think there's good things about it and some bad things about it.

Before I knew any better, I bought Cardano. I held it much longer than I wanted to because I didn't understand the 12 words in any meaningful way.
After going bitcoin only, I studied the BIP39 wordlist. I liked the idea of turning numbers into mnemonics, not just with bitcoin. I also studied the major number system.
Eventually, I figured out Cardano used the same list. I realized the word "store" was not on it. The word was stove, but my handwriting sucks.
I'm lucky I have any bitcoin. I have made so many mistakes, fell for so much bullshit and have had way too many close calls that could have caused me to lose my whole stack.

It is easier from a technical perspective. It's harder from a social perspective because the technological sucess also mints more salty bitcoin haters.
I sometimes post Vote For Better money stickers adjacent to other grafitti stickers. I've noticed most of my stickers get taken down, while the other grafitti stickers remain.
Conversely, it is also why I'm bullish on nostr. Giving away sats is harder to hate than trying to cram our ideology down people's throats.
