Stella Levitt, who toured with Lionel Hampton at the beginning of her career, was the wife of drummer Al Levitt. In 1968, they recorded the album "We Are the Levitts" for ESP-Disk, which featured guest musicians such as Chick Corea, Ronnie Cuber and Teddy Kotick as well as their 13-year-old son Sean on guitar.
