Now this account here (FileNotFound), I happen to know, is an actual neo-nazi adjacent account. I thought I had them blocked but maybe it's just a mute.
At some point they were mutual followers with accounts that had swastikas and other Nazi icons in their profile.
And you know what happened when I tried to tell people about that?
I got told "oh fuck off, stop calling everyone a nazi."
I had to go dig up the evidence for people, making screenshots of the accounts they are mutual followers with, as well as posts in which they allude to "Jews control the world" conspiracy theories.
And some people were still reluctant to accept it because they have trauma from being frivolously yelled "nazi" at all the time, so they didn't want to acknowledge that for once they may really have a nazi troll account among themselves.
Accounts like FileNotFound here are successfully hiding in plain sight among masses of people who get frivolously called "nazi." As soon as someone points them out, they can just say "yeah sure, everyone you don't like is a Nazi!" And some of the people around them, who really were unfairly called nazi, will jump to their defense.
Calling everyone a nazi is how you help actual Nazis hide in plain sight.

Iranian activists have long warned that Iran, under the Islamic Republic, is not a safe destination for tourism. However, some European travelers continue to visit, unaware that their presence may unintentionally strengthen Tehran’s strategy of using foreign nationals to secure the release of its agents abroad.
Ultimately, the real victims of these deals are the Iranian people, who—without state support—struggle to hold human rights violators accountable.

I can’t speak for all d/Deaf people, but my background is that I communicate via both verbal and sign language.
When I think, I experience my inner monologue in both my own voice and visual imagery in form of sign language.
Culturally Deaf individuals can have an inner monologue, but it may differ from that of hearing individuals. Many Deaf people think in sign language or images rather than spoken words.
