Today in Labor History February 19, 1990: After a 10-month strike, rank-and-file miners at the Pittston Coal Co. ratified a new contract. Ninety-eight miners and a minister occupied a Pittston Coal plant in Carbo, Virginia, inaugurating the year-long strike. While a one-month Soviet coal strike dominated the U.S. media, the year-long Pittston strike received almost no media coverage in the U.S. The wildcat walkouts involved 40,000 miners in Virginia, West Virginia and Kentucky. Over 2,000 people occupied Camp Solidarity. Miners and their families engaged in Civil Disobedience, pickets, work stoppages and sometimes sabotage, vandalism and violence. Over 4,000 were arrested.

Тут подтвержу, что от браслета сильно зависит.
Например, на прошлых часах (Huawei) я с радостью пользовался миланской петлёй. А на текущих (Garmin) пользуюсь стоковым силиконом. До этого на Amazfit тоже по-моему менял сток на что-то (правда потому что он порвался).
Ремни делают сильно по-разному и некоторые сделаны просто настолько отвратительно, что возникают вопросы как они этого добились. Плюс ещё у каждого свои телесне привычки или аллергии.
P.S. Я вообще и под Garmin купил петлю, но она оказалась слишком длинной и носить часы, которые болтаются было бы очень неудобно.

I think they still work to break the rules far too much for that to be the case. The driving force is deeper than that. IMO the divide is between people who prioritize truth & reality vs those who prioritize status. Status chasers won't ever compromise their social standing or job security to do the right thing. So they will always follow the process or the current way that the process is being corrupted by people who can potentially grant them higher status. They are far too often hostile toward anyone who tries to reestablish the obvious original intent of processes that were designed to produce rational outcomes, for most of the people involved to not have some greater aim in mind (even if they aren't fully conscious of it).
People who want status no matter what, are people who will claim that being useless or a victim or unhealthy or having attempted suicide deserves admiration & respect because that is the sort of incompetence which makes them comfortable. Some will actively work to corrupt any process in order to make this a reality. I think there are "substance" focused socialists & communists, but their idea of what constitutes substance is a complete inversion of reality. They want rewards without even having to participate. It is ultimately the desire to make zero = 100. They worship death & weakness, & believe competence should be punished.
