The police car Arnie steals initially has "to care and to protect" on the door and is car number 1874. Later on when he crashes it, it is still car number 1874, but instead has a crappy-looking sticker that says "dedicated to serve".
It's unclear why they took the care to keep the number the same, but changed the slogan with such a crappy-looking sticker with the wrong slogan. Maybe the door had a scratch or bullet hole in it?
